I think there is if you look.

You're still poor. Wimbledon won the Cup once. Didn't make them a great side tho did it.

There's not any new ones tho...

Yes we are poor at the moment, no doubting that...

But still too much for you in a one off game...

Small mercies eh?

Indeed.

I think I'm beginning to be glad you won - you're snatching at it in such desperation reminds me of the poor baying for food in Pre-revolutionary France. If you needed it so badly, then you enjoy it. With our blessing. ;)

Score stands at 1-1 so far this season.

Right.....

Well, no, I'm not glad really, but as it means so much to you (the desperate bit) only the hardest of hearts would begrudge you. ;)

O'shea is a must for this game i think

Marching says Harry Kewell is out.

That's indeed bad news. :D

Rio thanks his lucky stars

Rio Ferdinand has revealed how happy he was when he heard Harry Kewell was banned for the massive battle between Manchester and Leeds.

He said, “Its great for me that Harry isn’t playing because I simply couldn’t cope with him at Upton Park.”

He also went onto reveal how he feels Kewell is a world-beater:

“Harry is a great player, probably the best in his position, in the world”

These words will frustrate both Alex Ferguson and Ryan Giggs who it is believed both blame Rio for Liverpool’s second goal yesterday.

If people are going to post pictures of sheep please at least try to post YORKSHIRE sheep.

Here's two arrested at a recent home game ;)

Wes and Mick both struggling to make it.

In which case Roy could switch to defence and Nicky could get a game in midfield?

Does it need explaining?

Nicky is still short of match fitness imo, and it is natural to be a bit nervous when two of your first-choice defenders may not play.

It doesn't matter who plays, what formation. We have to beat them. The players will be gutted after sunday and its time for the big names to show why they are paid the wages they are.
My preference would be. Assuming Scholesy isn't fully fit, after he was a doubt for Sunday but played a full 90, same with Ryan. Either Wes or Rio should get a rest

Fabien

Gaz - Rio/Wes - Keane - JOS

Becks - Nicky - Seba - Diego

Ole - Ruud

Gazza, did you watch the Juventus game by any chance?

Arguably our best game of the season, and with Keane in defence, and Nicky in midfield......and if he can play a full game away for 90 minutes, I'm sure he can manage one at home.

Personally I would put out:

-----Fab
GNev----Rio---JOS---PNev
Becks---Keane---Veron----Ole
-----Ruud----Diego

I am assuming that Wes and Mickey are both injured. I would personally rest Scholesy also. I don't think he looked 100% the other day.

I will be in the North Stand Upper to cheer the boys on. Hopefully I will keep up my record of every time I have seen Ruud play he scores a hat-trick!!!!.

I didnt watch the game in full.

But how many times have Nicky and Seba played together in the middle?

And when Roy played against chelsea in defence and we lost 3-0 I cant remember many people wanting him to play there in the next game.

And last week it worked perfectly, so why choose to be negative?

If everyone is fit it shouldn't be necessary though.

Just read both are still doubtful. Seba will be making his 50th lague appearance for us.

We have never lost against leeds at old trafford in the premierleague.

Graham poll is the ref (guilty of missing that blatant penalty for us at the bridge this season) and uriah rennie is one of his assistants, the man who gave us our only red card so far this season, to roy against sunderland.

These facts are worrying me:

Leeds have not won a Premiership game at Old Trafford.

Man Utd are unbeaten in 13 home League games against Leeds, spanning a period of 21 years.

Leeds' only win in 18 visits to Old Trafford (16 in the League) was 0-1 in the old First Division on 28 February, 1981.

Leeds have failed to score in eight of their ten Premiership visits to Old Trafford.

Tell me Gazza, were you a soothsayer in a past life?

Woe, woe and thrice woe.....

Latest team news from gods side of the Pennines.

Leeds manager Terry Venables faces a selection crisis.

He is without Jason Wilcox (flu), Dominic Matteo and Michael Duberry (both hamstring) and Eirik Bakke (ankle), while Harry Kewell serves a one-match suspension.

Gary Kelly is also struggling with a hamstring problem, while Lucas Radebe is again doubtful with his ongoing knee injuries.

I think I might give Tell a ring and get myself a game.

Why do these stats worry, surely they must fill you with confidence. come on you will win, but we don't care, were concentrating on the FA Cup.

So many times this season we've heard random info like that and have it come back to bite us in the arse. Doesn't exactly make me anymore certain of us winning, neither do your comments saying how confident you are we'll beat you. Bloody annoying.

At some stage of the game for sure - I hope he gets the full 90.

This is a must win for us tonight, same for the Geordie boys in Smoggsville.
