Now we share the best defensive record in the league. Let's get another one to have the best record to ourselves!! :smirk:

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssss...Ruuuuuuuuuuuuudddddddddddd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :smirk:

Bad luck for Taylor... he had to be sent off for that, but there wasn't much he could do about it either.

A decent half, we controlled play well, that killer instinct just isn't quite there at the moment. I think maybe we're doing an Arsenal and overelaborating a bit.

Seeing it again, that was a superb pass from Ruud to win the penalty.

Good match so far. We're playing well, passing well and we should be able to score a few more if we can keep playing the same way.

Come to the chat room for the second half. Its a quicker way to keep updated on the match.

I assume you mean the best goal differential in the league?
Hard to improve your defensive record by scoring goals isn't it?

Not really...

Before this game Birmingham had conceded the lowest number of goals in the league with us conceding one more.

If we score one more then our record is the best in the league.

Most people have left and joined the chat room. The updates on the game are much quicker.

Ahh, I see what you're saying... sneaky!
Hehe, and now that we're up 2-0... we have the best defensive record at the moment!

Interestingly before today Birmingham hadn't given up a goal on the road.

All over, nice to get 3 pts and 3 goals... very good for my fantasy football team

Roy Evans trying hard not to sound bitter on TV, so funny.

FT 3-0

A great result and a good performance, though the first five minutes or so of the second half looked a bit dodgy.

Great pass from Diego for Giggsy's goal. Diego played well for much of the time that he was on, but then he inexplicably did a couple of Donkey impressions when he should have had good goal chances.

Another good match for Fletcher. He's definitely making a good step up to senior football, and although he could do with raising his game just a bit more, nothing I've seen so far indicates that he is incapable of doing so.

Scholesy MotM for me. He was pulling the strings all day.

Apart from the pass to Giggs, Forlan played shit - mishit a couple of easy passes & had the ball placed at his feet in front of goal but he miscontrolled it & thus wasted an obvious goal opportunity!

Fletcher looks more confident on the ball as he gets more games & of course Scholes again showed why he's United's most important creator; Giggs also had a very good match, together with Silvestre - saved Rio's backside again when the latter lost out in the box!

Phil again went about playing it simple & effectively - unlike Butt who still thinks he's a Becks in the passing game & played awful 60 yard passes to none or the touchline!
