A little something for the stat fans: The two clubs have only met 13 times before in their history and, quite frankly, if you want to read into these things, it doesn't look good for Millwall.

Of those 13 meetings three have been draws, Millwall have won just once and United have chalked up wins in the remaining nine, including a 1-0 win in their only FA Cup encounter back in 1953.

Looks like Cahill is their main threat although we'll also have to look out for the handicapped midfielder, Livermore.
 
Beware the 'Jeff Winter' factor, tiliting some of the balance of the game to Millwall. Most incompetent refs are at least even handedly so and are not worth the criticism but he is the most openly ABU ref in the game.

At the risk of sounding paranoid I wonder how much of a say Dein had in the selection of officials. I mean, Winter and Messias ? !

Early bookings / sending offs / a penalty are practically inevitable in Fatso's last game before becoming a media muppet and I have a feeling any such decisions will not be given in our favour.

We're not creating many chances these days so this won't be a cakewalk, Winter simply won't allow it to happen. I expect a close 2-1 victory to our lads.

Would love to see storming performances from Ronaldo, Fletch and Djemba.

I hope that United play will & win convincingly,,,the fans deserves it after a hard season,,,,,Is there an estimate for how many ppl around the world will watch the game ?

If we play like we did in the first against Villa, I can't see Millwall offering a resistance.

I hope we give Millwall a good thrashing..we got all our anger on them for not winning the premiership and not getting far in champs league..

I'm realy trying here but I just can't get excited yet about the game, I'm sure that will change by kick off, it's just so one sided it doesn't feel like a competition.
Hope everyone going to the match has a great day, weather is great and I,m sure the atmosphere will be electric.
Maybe it's because I,m not going that I can't get excited about it yet.
So sod it, it's off to the pub early get a good seat.

Wasn't that around the late 1800's? We certainly hold the modern day record as such... Mind you we've yet to destroy a team this year, like we normally do... We've only scored 5 goals in one game, and that was in Europe... We do normally have a game a year when it all falls into place.. Today's the last chance..
 
I would actually like to see Nicky Butt start alongside Keane...I think this could probably be his last game. I'll be happy to see him sort out Denis Wise.

Butt got provoked by Wise, kicked him and then got sent off before I recall. The video replay showed that wise had fouled Butt, pulled a hair out of his leg (seriously) prompting Nicky to lash out. Would be nervous at a repeat meeting of those two.
