where are solkjaer and van nistelroy?
they don't touch any ball <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

your reserves of the first time were better :D

The other commentator just corrected his mistake when he stated that these two teams could meet in the Champions League...then he realized that Barca were not in the CL and admitted his mistake...

Bellion's all over the place, forcing a corner now, Richardson takes it and it comes to nothing.

Are all french people like <img src="graemlins/houllier.gif" border="0" alt="[Houllier]" />

Fortune downs quaresma one more time, this time on the left, lookliked like he could have made a run.

On the other side, ruud stills another one, makes a nice pass in the open on the left to bellion, anderson panicks and kicks it out of play. 89'.

No veron tonight.

Richardson's got a fecking temper on him, doesn't he? <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" />

fortune is shit

red card in 10m of a CL game

Scholesy's kicking everyone and is rightly booked.

Well done lad. <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" /> :D

yes you will be there..but playing like tonight you'll never finish a CL game with 11 players!

Another United victory. 4-0-0 on the tour...

14 GF 3 GA

I have to give joint MOM honors to Diego and Howard...Howard made a key save at 2-1...he also had a couple of good saves to preserve the win...

FT 3-1

That makes our tour 4-0, 3-1, 4-1, and 3-1.

14-3 against all opponents. Pretty damned good if you ask me. Looking forward to this season.

My only worry is where is Veron?</strong><hr></blockquote>

It will be headline in newspaper tomorrow. Not the score, I mean. :(

I think Barthez will start against Sporting this week...and depending on how he performs will decide whom SAF chooses for the Charity Shield...my money is on Timmy...I think SAF will want to win that match too...

But looks like they will miss Veron. One more time, we missed him in the miedfield pretty bad.

I would say that this was the weakest performance by United, still beating barca 3-1. Not bad.

Timmy MOM IMO

You'd be surprised at how many Americans know something about Football.............we just live in a country that's so big and where the media has previously refused to give any praise to Football. Here's an example of growth..........in 1988 a US national team game would have drawn anywhere from 2,000-10,000...........now we get in the high 20s to 50s. A lot of that can be fans for the other team (especially the Mexicans), but it's growing. MLS averages almost 15,000 a game now.

Great game and great save by Howard on the free kick. where's Veron?

it's not manchester's and barça's first teams and manchester had two more weeks in the legs!

despite this, i have to say that i am very disapointed by manutd!
sometimes it was more kick boxing than football!

i think barça could have win this game!

and now it's against sporting wednesday//i will be here

tonight sporting sign sergio conceicao!

SAF just said that United might be back next summer...please let it happen...so many cities they could tour...Dallas...Denver...Tampa...Boston...Columbus...Kansas City...Detroit...the possibilities...I just hope this translates to more United matches on tele...and especially the CL...

Diego got the MotM, but I agree that Howard deserves a ton of credit for keeping us in the lead. It's a toss-up for me.

SAF looked and sounded very pleased.

I'm always surprised by how good Diego's English is. :)

Hey Barca man, my girlfriend from Barcelona who lives and dies for Barca and has season tickets wants to know what game you were watching to think that Barca had any chance of winning?????????

And yes, I still use hand puppets when she's not around................

I saw him on the field after the match was over. He said something to Gazz neville, looked like "I've had talks"! :) :) :) .

If you ask me, the deal is done. Chelsky said, do not put him in the game, we do not want him to get injured.

Good match, so pleased for Diego :) i do agree with the commment that we needed a bit more creativity in midfield so i was a bit disapointed not seeing seba there (i hope he stays). Ruud is class, and Howard that save he made both in the beginning from kluivert and the freekick that one was on it´s way in ! he´s looking very very good :)

This tour has been a complete success, i hope they go there back next year :)
