Maybe
Boro have been too defensive, Arsenal reserve defence may have trouble if they are attacked

Ole! Ahh should've had that one. I know we're winning 3-1, but we could've and should've buried them today.

i think it will coem down to goal difference, so we have to score more than arse, to catch up their goals scored ratio.

comon give me another goal pls

Arsenal have to go to Sunderland and Bolton. Southampton and Leeds could be handful for them, even at Highbury.

Trust Fergie to come up with a few 'Cheating the Manager' type statements !!

Everton away is out trickiest fixture now. Weir has just been sent off in the Derby game ?

He only scores from starts.

Seriously, we should have played Ole from the start, in place of Quinton if necessary.

We're no better off goal-difference wise than we were, and Arse have a game in hand - and have to go to Sunderland.

They have the upper hand when it comes to GD though... 2 today isn't helping. Boro are shit. I dread the thought of Sunderland.

Soton, Bolton and Leeds... latter two are shite if not for the fact that they are fighting relegation we'd class them as walkover...

The way we are playing today and recently, I do not think that will be a problem at all!

Fantastic attacking play today, a true joy to watch.

Chances missed, yes, but you've got to be happy with that performance. Absolute class.

Man Utd:
April 27 - Tottenham (a)
May 3 - Charlton (h
May 11 - Everton (a)

Arsenal:
Apr 26 - Bolton (a)
May 4 - Leeds (h)
May 7 - Southampton (h)
May 11 - Sunderland (a)

Bolton will fight, depends what Leeds team plays and Southampton are no pushover.

So, we've gained one in the goals scored column, otherwise no difference. And Newcastle really out of it.

And West Ham practically relegated.
And West Brom officially relegated.

And Leicester promoted.

That's plain daft after today's performance. We might have scored less.

That's my fear as well -- thats why I want them to loose points .. so I am hoping Bolton or Leeds can do some a favor as Sunderland I dread. Firstly they are crap and then there is the anti-Keano factor with McCarthy and mcAteer...

Could have been 6 today. Weird, feel sort of disappointed it was only 3-1 !!!!
Still neck and neck then....And we're still some goals behind 'cos if they win their outstanding game then their GD will increase to 2 or 3 or more better than ours.

We played great football today. Giggs, Scholes, Ruud and Becks were all amazing.

The only downer is that we didn't score as many as we should've. Should really have been 5 or 6 to 1.

Good result but we could have done with 2 more goals, Arsenal are still favourites in my eyes with their GD.

It was an amazing result really, that we could've got so many goals against such an in form team is incredible, but we're seriously running out of games to get our GD up - we must convert a lot of our chances in these 3 games.

I'm thrilled after today's performance. At times it was straight out of the top drawer, it really was. That was the real Manchester United, and I bet it stands up on Wednesday too. :D

Feel confident again tofay (beginning to worry my myself)

4-1 Giggs, RVN, Scholes, Ole

COME ON! (Boro 1-1 Arse BTW)

:D

Jaysus H! Apologies for jinxing that 4th goal. The big man upstairs didnt want me to win that bet so it wasnt to be. Amazing number of chances, goal line clearences and Friedel heroics.

Great win though so I take crumbs of comfort from that ;)

:D

we'll tonk Spurs, 5-0.... plus, iam confident that we'll score a few against Charlton.

They've still got tough matches ahead.. Bolton'll beat them.

Without Vieira, Edu, and Campbell?

Think not!

Be happy FFS! If we lose this title, blame Manchester Shitty, and Bolton!

Couldn't ask for better form going into it, but I hope O'Shea is fit for it. Its still a very tall order, but so was coming back against Juve and Bayern in '99.

i been saying it for weeks now but lets hope ARSE slip up somewhere. It would be absolute bollox if they win based on Goals Scored. The first tie breaker should always be head to head.

I agree. I think Leeds will draw as well.

Agree. They really were good today and produced at least 6 first class chances. Wish we had Scholesie on Wednesday though.

I think we still have the edge, they have more to do, they will lose Campbell, Vieira for a few more. Edu also is out. Bolton, Leeds and Southampton are all capable of at least drawing with them.

Bolton is their hardest game left, after todays result hopefully Bolton will want to kill off West Ham next week and give 120% against Arsenal. I think Leeds, Southampton and Sunderland will be walkovers for them.

I pray Spurs play like they did yesterday against us, we'd get at least 5, but they may be more motivated.

I dont think there would be any difficulty in beating spurs and charlton but the Everton away fixture might be tough..

Bolton Southampton might provide some fight but Arse might score heavily against Leeds and Sunderland
