were looking good but Juve, and Barca are the real test for the new or youth squad members (Forlan, Bellion, Fletcher, Richardson and Howard.

if they do good against the tactful and defensive Italians then we know their level.

Diego can't control the ball and Balde kicks him off it. Balde is a fecking cnut.

Pitch invader, they get him off right away though.

Pugh is coming in for Phil. Gaz is the captain right now btw.

3 minutes stoppage starting right now.

Seba and Scholes are linking up well in deeper central midfield.

Bellion runs onto a long, low ball (kid is indeed at least as fast as Henry), pulls it back to Diego who fluffs it. Diego's not doing well tonight.

Aye, a pot-shot would've served him better there.

Full time. 4-0.

Ruud
Giggs
Ole
Bellion

Ruud won the official Man of the Match award, and deservedly so.

I'll second that.

Like I said, Bellion was fecking amazing. Crap Sunderland reserve indeed...

FFS, I don't know what is wrong with DF. I think he tries so much that he even misses the sure ones.

Thanks for your post's today Busby,USA,MrM and the rest great first up game but like someone said the real test for our youngsters will be the Italian's and the Spanish. No doubt our experienced players will show them the way.

Everyone looked good.....except maybe Forlan who missed 2/3 good chances. Impressed with Bellion....confident, speedy beats his man...maybe one trick won't be missed that much. All in all a good start to the season. Defense looked solid. Smart quick passing is back. Hey, just wait till we get goin!
I just luv it

Thanks you all for the update. I was posting the upadates to the United mailing list for my mates here in indonesia..
much appreciate it. I'll be watching the delayed broadcast here in a few minutes.. :D .

I think so too... all he needed to do was nod in DB's cross but he tried to burst the ball with his head. Somebody needs to grab him and tell him to just relax and do his thing.

And then he goes on and looses great balls in the midfield by no reason, or gets pushed aside in another tackle. He can be the next Bati-goal, but if he continues this way he may be gone by next season.

Stop knocking the guy....
After those two goals v Pool he is immortal!

Great to hear the kids, especially Bellion, doing well.

Looks like Celtic was trounced despite starting with a full line-up.

Now, hopefully Bellion can produce it for the games that matter, but all the same, an encouraging debut.

No problem, I'm happy to do it. :D

DB looks to be easily faster than Mickey.

I think agree with what's been said about Diego - it's isn't his ability, or his commitment that's in question. I just wonder if he can keep his nerve in front of goal as well as he might.

Tho with the important goals he scored last season, he should have the confidence.

It's either nerves or inconsistency surely.

I predict bellion to become a wicked wiger cum striker, damn the guy is fast!!, henry in the making!! :D :D
