I really do hope that isn't true. Veron could be cruicial this year for United.

Thank God that shot by Juve was off target.![]()

What on earth are you doing in Norway?

In stoppage time now.
Outplaying Juve.
Very good start for Tim, looks commanding and assured. A great kick save early on.
HT 1-0.

The lads look good. They are just running Juve ragged. It was tight defensive football at first but after Giggs scored it opened up a bit more.Keano is playing really well. He argued a call, which was clearly a late tackle. Its good to see Keano being his old self. Howard looks good, has not had too much to do, but has had a couple of good saves. Think he is going to fit in real nice at Man United.![]()

If he stays...I hope Keano plays the holding role........thus letting him control the midfield.

Probably his swan song game by the sounds of it. Does he look choked like Beckham did?

Look, Boring's ego's swollen enough already without stroking it further.

Half time. Good first half. We're looking confident. Only criticism I would have is that we're not getting the quality crosses in from the right anymore. I think we really miss Becks in that area. Still the boys are fighting for every ball, passing really well and the defense looks solid.

Ole not having the best of games then? Last season he was crossing as well as Beckham.

Would you prefer it if we lost a couple?

Very positive. Tell me, the first time you got laid, did you say 'well that was all very nice but FFS only one girl? plus i probably won't get it again for another 5 years.'

A loss or a draw here or there wouldn´t hurt, no. This is going too well and I´d rather lose one now than in 2 weeks when the season has started.

That is good to hear, he's made his point this week, he knows Alex has got backups to him and he's determined to compete for his place - a very good situation to be in.

Expectations can never get too high because we are expected to win the title. I think it'd be better to go into the season high on confidence myself.
and feck off Plech!
