Bring on them hammers.

Team prediction:-

Initially thought it might be the same as Wednesday which maybe it should be - but now I think there might be a couple of changes.

Carroll/Ricardo
Neville
O'Shea
Rio
Silvestre
Becks
Butt
Keane
Giggs
Scholes
Diego

Bench: Ole, Ruud, Veron, Fab, Brown

But I'm probably way out.

Isn't a nice to have choices.

From the BBC site

Manchester United defender Wes Brown missed training on Friday with a thigh strain ahead of the FA Cup tie against West Ham on Sunday.
However, manager Sir Alex Ferguson expects Brown to be fit for the fourth-round match at Old Trafford.

Striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer comes back into contention after suffering an ankle injury in the victory over Chelsea, while Nicky Butt is now fully fit.

West Ham skipper Joe Cole travelled with the squad but has a calf injury and is likely to miss the game.

Glen Johnson is set for his full debut after impressing when he came off the bench at Charlton on Wednesday.

Les Ferdinand was not signed in time to play in this round of the Cup, while Nigel Winterburn will be rested ahead of Wednesday's Premiership clash at home to Blackburn.

If Fab doesn't play I don't see him on the bench, he will have a rest. BTW I don't understand why he plays all the games of the four competitions, not that I don't want to see him ;) but he needs a rest from time to time. So if Ricardo plays I think Carroll will be on the bench, if Carroll plays Ricardo will be on the bench.

Shit.

The match is on at 1 pm on a Sunday. Exactly the same as it was back in 2001. I'm getting a terrible sense of deja vu here... :(

West Ham are bolox. Not to temp fate but they can't even beat charlton.
No Joe Cole, no Di Canio, No hope.
Rio will be well up for it. I can't see them causing too many problems as long as the players take the match seriously.
A professional performance should see us score 3 or 4.

My condolences.

Looks like BBC one will be carrying the match.

We CAN NOT lose to West Ham. Its not possible. They really are THAT bad.

There you go, now fate is well and truly tempted I'm off to crawl back on my sofa (still suffering from a particularly violent run in with Mrs Stella A last night :p )

ps. Nicky Butt set to warm the bench tomorrow

Prediction: 3-0 Diego, Scholes and Keane

no joe cole?, is that true?, interesting...i heard they might rest bowyer aswell. If we keep defoe under raps then theres no reason why we cant cruise into the next round, but nothings a fore-gone conclusion, especially with manchester united...

I hope our players won't be so overconfident...

same as, i remember the times in any comp where we'd stroll out and think we only have to turn up to win it, due to over-confidence, hasnt happened to much this season, but has happened occasionally (e.g bolton @ home, city away, boro away and haifa away, haifa @ home (first 5 minutes)), so lets not fall into that trap again, eh boys

I'm sorry to be a drag but I'm not confident either. Everything seems to be set up for an upset. :(

Come on boys... We want all 4 pots don't we?

No we're gonna beat them. Pay them back for 1986 and the Barthez "taxi" farce. We look great at the moment and they look shite. 'nuff said.
