Did the meeting with Giggs go that well that we're ready for announcement already?
Well if you've watched the interview. It was clear that he was deflecting. Be patient. We've got him.
I have visions of a news conference being arranged, with Van Gaal and Giggs staggering onto the stage with a bottle of whiskey each in hand.
I'm beginning to wonder if the meeting/decision took place before now and this is photo op fodder.
I'll laugh so hard if after all these talks van Gaal just tells Giggs he has no role in his coaching staff.

I doubt he'll be going back there. I'm certain he's come out and said that managing in England is one thing he wants to do before retiring.
I heard on BBC news of Giggsy going to holland to meet LvG. I have different take of the purpose of meeting- maybe it's Giggsy interviewing LvG to check out if he's united quality before a final decision is made, hence the appointment has yet to be announced... Hahaha...

He's been there twice and said that he wants to finish his career in the premier league because it's the only major place he hasn't been. United and van gaal are actually perfect for each other in every aspect currently IMO. Perfect to rebuild us and get us competing, winning trophies, get players in line, give us a tactical overhaul, and perfect time frame for when klopp will be ready to leave Dortmund (2018)

No but he could be flying to Holland to find out what sort of role van Gaal is sees for him and whether it would be the right fit.
Giggs keen on bigger role than under Moyes sounds a bit demanding...
Maybe, but I recall that it has been said that the role Moyes gave him was pretty symbolical, almost just for PR.. Giggs has a lot to offer as long as he knows his role and won't challenge van Gaal on authority. (which I'm confident very few would actually dare to try
