United v. Oxford

We're worryingly crap in the air. Nothing new there with O'Shea and Silvestre, mind.

Fletcher's a wimp

Ronnie is taking the boos well. Fair play to him so far.

I hope all the booing cnuts get their bollocks chopped off.

Go read the first few pages, all your questions have been answered.
actually I did scan through it.... in all honesty match threads are usually more coherent than this one, but then it is a friendly against oxford. and for the record... I would have just answered if I knew rather than telling someone to scan through 4 pages....

O'Shea is usually quite good in the air on crosses to be fair Noods...sometimes a bit flat footed but usually reads it quite well I think.

For a fat lad like.
Not against physical aerial teams he isn't. He panics and heads the ball like a gimp

Remember against Exeter?

am i the only one in here with MUTV?

typical my mum is watching bloody holby so i cant watch it at the moment,

No you're not the only one. I've been busy being an armchair fan. Not a bad game so far, we're playing an obviously weaker side but have looked good and are keeping the ball well.

IMO

Foster hasn't had too much to do other than make a couple of easy saves and pick the ball out of his net once!!!

Bardsley has used the ball well going forward but been a little sloppy at times.

O'Shea - not too much to do and has looked fairly comfortable but has failed to dominate more in the air from set pieces etc.

Micky - as above.

Heinze - getting forward well but looks a little rusty.

Ronaldo - getting involved and playing with a smile on his face, not fazed by the booing, involved in Ole's goal and took his own well.

Fletcher - neat and tidy, poor keeping for his goal but they all count.

D Jones - neat and tidy, wanting the ball, not giving it away easy, looking to be creative and trying to get forward when possible.

Richardson - fairly quiet so far.

Ole - an excellent finish but not been as involved as I'd like otherwise.

Saha - looks sharp, the ball is sticking to his feet, had a few lame shots though.

HT

Johhny Evans on for John O'Shea

This happened regularly last season whoever was playing at the back! Can't explain it, really!

Who is commenting? Ryan Giggs or something?

"Its nice to have young players coming up, I did that a long time ago" bla bla

Easier to type look yourself than answer it all, which coincidentally I was in the process of doing.

whatever... like I said it wouldn't have been a problem for me, I'm like that ...anyway back to the game

aha. just thought it sounded a bit like the soft gentle voice of Ryan Giggs... but it probably didn`t!

oxford having the better of the game at the moment....

Heinze obviously needs more training and practice, he was not ready at the WC and it's the same now

4th. corner in a row that our defenders couldn`t get to. might be better when rio and vidic/brown is back.

Fletcher's seriously starting to piss me off

Grow some fecking balls

He's probably been told to make sure he doesn't get injured - it's a nothing game and the last thing we need is to lose another midfielder.

Lee Martin on for Kieran Richardson.
Danny Simpson on for Gabby.

Gabby was supposed to do 90 but only managed 57, MUTV have not said why.

Lee Martin should've scored from the follow up to a very good Fletcher run, one-two and shot that was saved by the keeper.

Good counter attack combination beween Jones, Martin and Ronaldo. Martin delayed the pass too long and Ronaldo caught offside.

almost another from Ronnie... indication of good times ahead???
