I know a few Spurs fans, some of whom will be at the game. They're not as confident as last year, when they were convinced they'd take us. That said they expect to give us a stern test. BRING IT ON !

I have some bad feelings about that game, we could struggle there as we did against Spurs last year. After the first half I was almost sure it was going to end with a comfortable victory, but then we stopped and they equalized, hopefully we won't repeat the same mistake.

Our squad for that game is also not very good, without Rooney we're noticably worse than with him and Scholes' abscence will hurt us too. I feel it will be more visible than against poor Watford and Charlton sides.

On the other hand, Tottenham have been doing quite bad so far and they have some new players that need time to gel, that should be our chance. Advantage of playing at home should also play its role.

I'll be satisfied with a one-goal win, everything above that would be fantastic.

Nonetheless, everytime I felt we were going to struggle in the past we went on to win game easily, and everytime I expected an easy victory, we ended up with a disappointing draw or even defeat (1-3 to Fulham the most memorable one, before that game the only question for me was whether it would be 3 or 4-0).

We are at home, an even without Roo, Scholes, Heinze etc. we have a considerably stronger line-up than Spurs...


We should win comfortabley.

Simple as that.
 
Also, if we win this game, I can see us winning the next two becuz I expect to see Scholesy and Roo absolutely starving to destroy!!

A great night will entail Liverpool to lose (half way through that at the moment), Arsenal to lose and then United to win.

The server has been tweaked since then, and the last day of the transfer window was a freak - 1337 users all at once - will not happen today. If it does start to slow down, we can do certain things to help. Let's see how it goes first.
