United v. Tottenham

We miss Rooney, the link between the midfield and the striker. And we have not much presence in midfield, hardly played over the wings and we give them too much room.
That's why I hate internationals

But we're leading 1-0 and i'm sure the boys will improve.

Half time then.

Glimpses of good play but it's spasmodic. The crowd is dead and the pace of the game is a bit flat to be honest.

Ronnie needs to get into the game and stretch their defence because quite a lot we're having the ball in the middle of the pitch with about 5 Spurs players in front of us and we're knocking it in triangles a la Arsenal with no real penetration. Now we have a player in Carrick who can split a defence the wide players need to make the best of him and get out wide to offer an option.

If a cross is coming in we need more men in the box too. But to be fair these are a pretty tough side and we the dynamism we seem to be lacking would certainly be cured by Rooney and Scholes, so not greatly concerned.

well... his comments about FC united and also the fans contribution to blocking the sky deal were a disgrace. He does himself no favours with comments like those.

I was fully against the Sky deal. But SAF his right in saying it was the Monopolies and Mergers Commission that stopped the deal not us.

Gary doing typically brilliant at the back, Giggs is on fire and Carrick is looking the part.

We started off well but we've been a bit sloppy since, especially the decision making from Richardson and the distribution from Rio.

We should win but if we're not careful we'll find ourselves in the same situation as we did last year

It was also SAF that at the time gave SU his wholehearted backing. Now he's calling them a load of pricks

Prem plus just charged me £16 frigging quid for the game

True that.

I'm glad that we can score goals and keep the scoreline although not playing our best football. Last season, we couldnt do that, unlike Chelsea

I'm going to start and go to the pub to watch them, £16 is a disgrace.

do you guys think that richardson should be a full back? evra a winger ? cus richie plays slow on the ball like a fullback evras quick with it

We just again seem to be satisfied with a one-goal lead, it's a deja vu from the last year. Hopefully Fergie has noticed that too and will tell players to kill the game with the second goal.

Carrick's passing has been excellent so far, some of our players still don't know what to do with them but it will come with time.

Hopefully we will make it 2-0, otherwise it will finish 1-1.
