I may be reading too much into this, but this suggests to me that we are likely to pack the central midfield and play a 4-3-3.

Tough one. The Arse will almost be fighting for their season. I won't be disappointed with a draw. Hence I'd be tempted to start with JOS, whos defensively better than Carrick IMO. I would surely try Evra ahead of Richardson. A good left sided player and has good ability going forward.

Hopefully, we'll nick it. 2-1.

So long as both Fletch/Carrick hold & cover for Gaz/Evra, then Roon/Scholes/Ron/Saha should get at least 2 between them. If Henry & RVP don't play then I can't see their midfield breaking through...2-0 to us COME ON YOU REDS.

Carrick and Scholes in the middle sucks balls. Has to have OShea in their somewhere - God help us if he gets injured!! (Who here could predict us being in that position eh??)

Take out Fletch and put in OShea and thats quite tasty.

There are two points i'd like to make about Sunday's game. Firstly, if we play 4-4-2 with Carrick and Scholes in midfield I honestly believe we will lose. Arsenal will control the midfield and half the battle will be lost. However, I really don't see Fergie doing a Wenger and changing a winning system because he is scared of them. We will play 4-4-2 in my opinion, hopefully with JOS and Scholes in the centre, Ronaldo left and Carrick right.
 
let's keep it to the 4-4-2 lads.. Wingplay is United.. We got the two best wingers in the world, one of them is out though :nervous:

I just do not think that we will change from 4-4-2. That would be a sign that we are scared of them and changing systems when you always play 4-4-2 never ever works, as Mr Wenger knows from his own experiences.
 
Arsenal will be hungry for this one, but their team is shite, so it should be pretty close....;)
 
Our defenders will have to have to be on top of form.But i can see us winning this one quite comfortably.

Not convinced Carrick is our answer in midfield. Perhaps a JOS and Scholes partnership is better.

JOS has always had a good outing against Arsenal.

Who is most likely to shine tomorrow? I'd go with Carrick, Scholes and Rooney. Carrick as first goalscorer.. I guess Ronnie wont be a let-down either.

The 4-3-3 takes the width away. But Carrick and Scholes in midfield, and Gaz and Mick attacking the wings, United could pass all day and control the match.

Whatever first XI and formation is used, I just hope Fletcher is not playing right wing.
