Arsenal really arent a bad team. All this cockiness is very dnagerous. Whether or not Henry plays they are still a dangerous team and we are the first side this season who will have a go at them leaving them space to counter. Henry or no Henry it will be a very tough game. A draw in both games would really not be bad news for us.
 
Adebayor to play lone striker with Freddie Gayberg just off him.

Henry MIGHT make the bench, not sure about RvP.
 
Very tough one this.

We really need to turn on the style again today because if we play the way we've played the last few matches it just won't be enough today.

Ain't gonna happen, we played shite with 4-3-3 last season therefore this season we've been playing 4-4-2 so far. Although the formation might change due to the injuries, it's just not very probable that we will switch to 4-3-3 for today's clash.

Agreed, i'm getting a bit worried with the overwhelming confidence
As someone who was confident through thick and thin last summer, i fully expect a good go at the title, but as fans, we have to watch it because we could get ahead of ourselves

Hmm... don't have a good feeling about this one today. Play like we did mid-week by giving the ball away sloppily and we'll get beaten.

They've got players that can hurt us in Walcott, Rossicky, Baptista et cetra, but if we get Rooners and Ron on their game today, we should sneak it 1 or 2 nil.

Van Der Sar's absence must be down to an injury you'd think, hopefully not a bad one. We can have faith in Kuszczak though.

I can understand the O'Shea for Carrick switch though, i speculated on it earlier in the thread, his defensive qualities and reliability in CM so far this season have raised his standing at the club. There are some games where we will look him to provide that bit of "steel" in the midfield, all the more so with Scholes in such good form.

Hopefully Fletcher can bring the needed width and attacking threat to the right flank.

A bit of belief people.

I had always expected O'Shea to start ahead of Carrick.

VDS is a worry.

I would have played Evra instead of Fletcher on the wing.
