United Vs. Arsenal

Kuszack is a great keeper and Carrick for JOS is a toss up. Fletch has done OK so far this year too - UTd. still have every chance of winning this game as long as the defence keeps it tight.

What the feck has he done to be described as a great keeper?

1537: Manchester City are the only team in England yet to score a goal from open play

and just as i post that

1539: Blackburn 1-1 Manchester City
Third time lucky for Joey Barton. He breaks the offside trap, races on to Paul Dickov's through ball and takes his time before picking his spot and equalising with a low finish.

i do hate fergie sometimes, resting carrick against Arsenal :| if ** gonna rest him, rest him against celtic

Got nothing to do with resting rather than formation.

fergie just said that carrick has played 3 games in past week, Scholes has played 1 and OShea has played 1, so he is resting Carrick.

On the other hand, he's not coming out and says Carrick is not good enough defensively for Arsenal, is he?
But whatever, in the end i'm sure O'Shea can do a good job today. The team has my full support, hopefully Fletch can perform aswell

le arse play very narrow through the middle.. only ljumbershit is a wide option..
guess thats why the gaffer is going in with o shea to tighten the midfield.. and attack through the wings..

guess it makes sense. just wish oshea stands up to be counted!!

and just saw good ole robbo on espn here.. he rates tommy k pretty high and says he will do very good.. so will take it for that!!!

Van Der Sar's absence must be down to an injury you'd think, hopefully not a bad one.
You shouldn't even have to thinka bout that one, he'ld be on the bench ATLEAST if he wasn't injured.

Pretty young Arse side, could be an advantage for us.

With Arse's 4-5-1, I think it was the right decision to play O'Shea

arse will be solid at the back with gallas and toure. midfield is flooded, i hope united can do it!! :nervous:

Fantastic. I got let off my shift early so I could get home in time for this and I just got in. Come on United

We really need to win that game, i'm nervous as feck. Hopefully not again a thriller like the 4-2 at Highbury

Let's just hope that Rio and Wes are awake for this game and we should be ok
