United vs. Barcelona [Preseason Friendly]

Barcelona line-up: Valdes - Alves, Mascherano, Puyol, Adriano - Busquets, Iniesta, Sergi Roberto - Tello, Messi, Sanchez.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing welbeck play in this, he has speed and strength to hold up the ball and could be a good option. I want to see how kawaga and rooney get about as well, but i don't know if we can fit all three of them into the team while still having two wingers and a solid defensive midfield.

my only real thought is a 3-5-2 something like

Fergie only ever plays 3 at the back if we are losing late in the game.

Scholes is good choice because he can at least hold onto the fecking ball.

Is Cleverley not with the squad yet? Would have liked to see him on the bench atleast.

Welbeck to shine tonight.. Both wide players to attack as much as they can..
 
I know we'll likely manage scholes's game time better this season but he looks as sharp as he's gonna get already now, would rather keep him as fresh as possible but oh well, am sure they know what he's capable off.
 
If we lose, caf will be doom and gloom. If we win, caf will ridicule anyone who reads anything into a pre-season friendly.

I don't expect us to play it, i only think it would be interesting if we did. I believe someone played it against barca/spain recently with some success but i forget who

Are there MUTV streams out there that are currently airing? Everything seems to be off air.
 
Why would you be worried about Ando playing, he needs games its good to see him starting.
