Becasue Pique is playing for Spain, in the U-20 World Cup in Canada. Spain lost in the quarterfinales to Czech Republic after penalties. Pique missed the last one..

They are on extended breaks after their holidays, Rossi and Pique's seasons ended later than the Premiership and the former had a lot of pressure on him to keep Parma up on the last day.

And then came the u21 championships for Rossi, and Pique was playing for Spain in the under 20 wc only a few days ago. Use your brain you retard, it pisses me off when people make such rash statements on the back of very little evidence.

He was talking about Saha, Neville and Ole's operations and that they all will be back in August and then said his squad is very strong and the boys coming back from loan will help him. He then added that he thought Rossi did well to score 9 goals in 16 games for Parma to virtually keep them up singlehandedly and said Pique had done exceptionally well for Zaragoza making 24 appearances.

Urawa just got thrashed by Gamba Osaka a few days ago. i know this because I won somemoney on the match.
 
maybe they did rest some players but I think a few of their players are on national duty with Japan in the Asian Cup as well.
