He's using emotional blackmail rather than discussing the legislation. What part of the legislation does he disagree with exactly? I can't find anyone discussing this throughout the Twitter thread. The politician who put the legislation forward claimed it was to make sure 'trans women' or people with XY chromosomes couldn't compete against women in sport in order to make women's sport fair. That sounds completely fair and reasonable. If that's merely the case (all I can find on it) then the drama queen is a disgrace, but seemingly Twitter loves him.

Anyways, this bill (actually not even a bill, it was an amendment racked on to a voter suppression bill) is one of dozens (hundreds??) of bills in this country in which the GOP is demonizing trans kids and weaponizing bigotry against them to rile up their “christian” base. Is this bill uniquely bad? No, but the hatred and bigotry that is driving it is all too common. That is what the guy is talking about. None of these bills are truly about fairness or caring about young girls. These are the same people trying to strip away women’s reproductive rights. These bills are just what he says, it is a group of people wrapping cruelty and hate up in a bow of “fairness” knowing that people will view dissent against it as people being drama queens.
