Meaningful? Roe? Tough i dont know if i would campaign on that
At least this guy shows some guts and seems interested in real politics, even if you disagree with him
It is telling that he isn’t mentioning getting a clean CR passed to fund the government til early next year as Roy is an ideological nihilist wacko. His purity doesn’t allow for anything worthwhile for the voters & is only beholden to the base freaks in his district. His policies are hardly ‘real.’Meaningful? Roe? Its all performative BS, he loves to grand stand, i'd be surprised if he has introduced any bill that got through to help Americans in some way.
I see someone who is exasperated in not passing any part of their uber-right wing agenda, someone who doesn't want to face any of their constituency with nothing to show for it - no tax breaks for those who don't need it, no Hunter indictment(s), no substantial owning of the libs, no anti-woke legislation that takes the scalps of those dastardly leftists, no pardoning of the J6 hostages, etc.I see a cnut out cnuting the other republicans to make it look like meaningful
This guy is one of the MAGA wackadoos, he's on par with MTG, Gaetz and JordanMeaningful? Roe? Tough i dont know if i would campaign on that

I did like her repeating words when Wray told her that the FBI was not under the DHS umbrella. It was impressive, in a way, her ability to take advantage of the moral fainting couch with her last statement about terrorism.Thing is, what we view as self-own, the conservatives views as the opposite, they think they absolutely nailed it.
MTG and co only gets more popular with their base by making fools of themselves, they are just failing upwards.
Being wrong about everything and proud of it is seen as a virtue in those circles.
I thought it was Brazilians!Campaign donations spent on botox.
Everyone,
Chip Roy went on his rant because the GOP leadership didn't push shutting the government down! He is no hero, no moderate Republican, and no one the Dems can work with. His rant is because he wanted GOP leadership to threaten shutting down the government over the holidays to force more concessions from the House Dems! Don't look at that 30 second Twitter clip out of context.
"Thirteen Texas Republicans voted against their party’s bill Tuesday to keep the government funded through the year, though the bill was able to garner support from Democrats and pass in the U.S. House.
The measure, known as a continuing resolution, would keep the government funded at current spending levels until early next year as Congress works on appropriations legislation to finance the government for the whole fiscal year. House Speaker Mike Johnson presented the legislation over the weekend.
U.S. Reps. John Carter, Michael Cloud, Pat Fallon, Tony Gonzales, Lance Gooden, Wesley Hunt, Morgan Luttrell, Nathaniel Moran, Chip Roy, Keith Self, Beth Van Duyne, Randy Weber and Roger Williams voted against the bill — just over half the state’s GOP delegation.
The bill passed 336-95, with 93 Republicans and two Democrats voting against it. All Texas Democrats supported the bill.
Several deeply conservative members felt Republican leadership did not use the shutdown deadline to eke out stronger policy priorities."
