Been a poor pre-season so far. Only one team has really given the players a good run-out and the attacking play hasn't been all that good, particularly the finishing. 3 of the teams have been playing very defensively though.
Decent games, some nice moves but unable to finish them off. Kagawa was impressive again, Welbeck and Nani did well and it's great to have Vidic back.

What did we learn from today? Kagawa is quality, and should start against Barcelona. Good to see Vidic back. Rooney and Scholes were sloppy, Welbeck and Nani were promising and Anderson still looks fat.
I suspect Paddy works for free. That's the only explanation I can think of.
Finishing has been rubbish. But some of the buildup play has been good. Nani, Valencia, Kagawa and even Bebe have been the bright spots.
The most important thing that these preseason matches have shown us is that we desperately need a left back to play behind Evra. We are woefully thin in that department and Keane is definately not the answer.

Yeah it's weird how just watching him this pre-season as made it so apparent that we've been a bit lacking through the middle. What he provides, we have definitely been missing.
