Valdes not invited to UNICEF Charity Dinner | Calm down it's for first team squad and coaches

LVG and United are lame for not inviting him (if true).
Valdes is lame for being a little bitch and not playing (if true).
Valdes' wife is lame for posting about it on social media.

The club has everything to do with it, LVG is only an employee and if he acts like an absolute weapon, he should be put at his place. It's a charity for kids, why would you not invite Valdes? That's not just a trivial thing to do, that's the actions of idiots.

The manager is the most important person at the club - SAF. I don't like LvG behavior on this but the club would be stupid to take the players side

Is Valdes getting a wage? Yes. Why didn't he leave last summer? I don't know what's going on but it 'looks' bad.

Whether a person has been invited to a charity event or not is not really a matter of objectivity/subjectivity.
Oh, and by the way, the first comment on her instagram photo is seems to be someone saying they do these charity events and it's UNICEF who send out the invites.

Else the whole charity dinner was restricted to coaching staff and players of Utd first team and hence Valdes did not get selected.

I imagine it's the club who provides the email id's to UNICEF to send out the invites no?

 That is funny. Anyway I don't think some understand that Valdes is not part of the first team squad. The only players that were invited were first team players so why should Valdes have been invited?

Valdes is not part of the first team squad, it is that simple.

That's the problem. Everything here is "imagine". And yet, it's clearly LVG's fault in some people's eyes here.

Well, it seems fairly straightforward that United would have to provide a list of players to be invited to UNICEF.

But yeah, I don't really care though. I had almost forgotten he played for us.

When you take on LVG, there's only one Victor.

*gets hooked off stage*

Seems a lot of fuss about nothing if the invitations were sent to the first team and coaching staff.

Its the continental way Im afraid.

Yep. Bloody foreigners have no values and respect. It's a pity they're dragging down Utd in the mud with them.
Like when Eduardo Vuduardoni sacked Moyes and he had to learn it from the press .

Yeah I'm redcafe biggest fan of British management

There's actually something a bit odd about the event in general. The foreign players seem to have arrived complete with WAGs, a lot of the Brits didn't. Maybe they went round to Valdes' place to console Yolanda, and egged her on to do the Instagram post. Makes sense to me :wenger:

I feel the entire Valdes situation has been mishandled by Manchester United. You cannot undermine the manager's authority. Still, there's a Man Utd way of doing things. This is not it. If Valdes was not wanted we should have negotiated the early termination of his contract and let him go, like we did with Keane. Forcing him to hang around without giving him any chance of getting back into the side is just silly.

Yolandacardona1 seems a little upset so perhaps Valdes is too.

I do think the whole situation has been handled terribly.

We were ready to let him go on a free to a foreign club. He wants PL clubs. But PL clubs aren't willing to pay for him. Nothing else we could do. If we terminate contract we would have to pay him a fee too. I doubt the guy is going to forgoe that too.

Whilst I dislike lvg, I think the fact that valdes isn't part of the first team squad is the reason. Most likely the office staff used a list of first teamers.

And on their way back home they stopped in front of LvG's house and threw raw eggs at his house chanting "Libertad por Victor". :D

So, he randomly decided he didn't like Valdes despite having a good relationship prior to Valdes joining United?

Not randomly, no. I'm sure he had a reason to fall out with him, but I bet it's a massive overreaction - the way Valdés has been treated has been a joke (not talking about specifically this incident)

Valdez refused to play for the reserved, so Van Gaal decided to get a new keeper who doesn't refuse to do so, and will be match fit when/if he is needed.

That made Valdez surplus to requirements. United was going to sell him on cheap to Besiktas, and Valdez agreed but then he changed his mind.

I think that Valdez has only himself to blame.

And I'm sure you and other Liverpool fans hate sterling for merely wanting to leave the club.
