Park is just mindblowingly woeful.

Absolutely every attack down the left has ended for us the second he touches the ball. He turns slower than a tank and as soon as he gets it he tries cutting in and ends up losing the ball. Can Obertan really do any worse than him?
 
Dire stuff. We ought to clone Scholes. Cheaper than replacing him and all.
 
Might be best to set up with some tactics where Anderson isnt our box striker in the second half.
 
Very strange half, what i thought was a xmas tree ended up a 4-4-2. with the left hand side being wrong.
 
Shades of Munich last season. Good start, after first 20 minutes you think 'yep, this is how I expect us to look like with three midfielders'. Then we can't get hold of the ball again.

Oh, and Park+Evra are dreadful.
 
Nani has been just as bad/worse than Park, so stop whining about Park so much. Some of these posts are embarrassing.

He hasnt ran straight into the middle with a heavy touch pretty much every time he's been given the ball. So no, despite being poor, Nani wasnt as bad as Park.
 
I think Park will be subbed for a striker. Anderson will move left. Carrick and Fletcher need to step it up, otherwise one of them nave to go
Owen to come on at 65 min. Us to switch to 4-4-1-1

Nani at least show some intention. Park either mistouches the ball or passes it back to the closest player.
 
All this game has done is reinforce just how fecked we are going to be the day Scholes and Giggs retires. The pretenders need to step up in a big way. All hype and fanbois aside....they have huge shoes to fill.
 
ITV treated us to a quick shot of some of the floor there. Excellent.
 
boring as it has been , werent most people happy to take a 0-0 before kickoff

i hope it improves , but didnt expect this to be a spectacle .. away against a team we really dont want to lose to
 
Park is just not a winger, I'm not sure how long Fergie is going to keep persisting with him in that position. He just never looks effective on the wing...

Exactly. Park's been even worse than his usual self and that's saying something. Might as well have taken Bebe with us. Sure he has absolutely no experience but he can't do any worse than Park.

Need to win this. Rangers win and they also go on 4 points.

i am genuinely amazed by this. no other winger on the bench? makes no sense if theyre not injured.

park just has to go off, he offers nothing. get o'shea on for him, nani on the left, rafael on the right :drool:
 
Where is the pace in the final third? Get the ball in there quickly, its predictable right now.

Depends what you mean by service. He's had the ball to feet a fair bit and done quite well with it. But if he's not in the box we cant create for him can we. As a lone striker he spends most of his time pulling wide and being involved in the buildup play, never then getting his ass into the box for a cross.
