Everyone are talking about Ronaldo and Drogba as players of the season, but surely van Persie must be in with a shot as well.

It's believed to be around that figure, got him on the cheap because his contract was expiring
 
IMO, he & Drogba are the 2 most impressive strikers this season.
 
He'd certainly be in the team of the season so far partnering Drogba with Ronnie on the right.
 
Great player,twists and turns the best defenders in and out constantly,remember him doing it to gabby,then in the wc,and he regularly does it in the pl nowadays... btw without tht attitide he'd probably be a shite player,you need that arrogance and will to be among the best

Still struggling to see why defenders let him get on his left foot when he is coming from the right hand side.

Proper player that one, also did you see the attitude of the arse players towards each other yesterday, I reckon they have very high team moral, that whole Henry going over to Adebayor after his peno and dancing with him thing, a bit gay but they really seem to enjoy playing with each other. Never seen Henry smiling so much during a game.
 
Never really noticed him before. But he's been great so far. Bit like Ronaldo, he's taken a game to another level this season.

Its a 2 horse race, just like for the title.
 
Van Persie is excellent. In recent weeks he's been better than Drogba.
