Then we will have to show some patience like with Vidic and Evra.My friend tells me he's very similar to Bonucci, even identical weaknesses.
Friend also says like Bonucci, he will find the first few months very difficult.
Finally a kindred spirit... Cheers! No Oxford comma in the thread title is mildly irritating.
PRobably at most only one of Jones and Smalling would be sold if thats the case. Maybe neither as Rojo will be missing for chunks of the new season. Not to mention both of them are injury prone. My friend tells me he's very similar to Bonucci, even identical weaknesses.

You're missing a comma after the word 'finally'.Finally a kindred spirit... Cheers!

Kid will fit in here nicely.
Shame on youDon't know if he's good and I'm Swedish
They will all be old by the time Jose leaves.Mourinho will leave a much better side than he found.
Where did he say that?I'm not sure he's even been signed as a defender; I feel he'll be moulded into the midfield anchorman by Jose.
It's obvious Dier is/was the primary holding midfield target, but if Spurs are refusing to sell, the sudden revival of interest in Lindelof for circa the price United were looking to pay for Dier suggests he was the second choice destroyer.
He's not really a 'Mourinho defender'; he stated earlier last season that he's not arsed how good a defender is on the ball as long as they primarily want to defend. At this point Lindelof's ball-playing game easily eclipses his core defensive one.
Don't be surprised to see 'Will Keane's brother' still be the primary defensive signing this summer.
Supposedly similar in style to Bonucci. Very comfortable on the ball, very composed, very efficient in his tackling. He makes a lot of interceptions and only tackles when he needs to because of good positioning. His weaknesses lie aerially unfortunately, but it's not BAD and can be improved on.I really didn't this was happening.
Anyway...haven't read through this thread but anyone care to shed a light on what kind of defender he is?

Where did he say that?
Kagawa, RvP and maybe more.Any idea why we've announced it before it's actually done? Have we ever done that before?
Thank you. He sounds very promising.Supposedly similar in style to Bonucci. Very comfortable on the ball, very composed, very efficient in his tackling. Hopefully .They will all be old by the time Jose leaves.
I think his defensive signings have been his best work in his transfer dealings where ever he has gone.Jose is great at defensive signings, I'm sure he will succeed here.
I think every man and his dog know who the other 2 are but who is signing number 4 ?Solid signing which makes a lot of sense. Happy with this one. Three to go with Morata lined up next?
George Weahs brotherI think every man and his dog know who the other 2 are but who is signing number 4 ?
George Weahs cousin
I am sure too. Was just a tongue in cheek comment.Pretty sure it's to differentiate with his number in Sweden.
Thanks. I slippedFixed
His aerial ability is the thing I'm most interested in. It's the one big flaw in Bailly's game, so having a partner to complement him is going to be important.09:10
What qualities foes Lindelof possess?
MEN Sport spoke with Aftonbladet’s Patrik Brenning in January to discover more about one of Scandinavian football’s rising stars.
What qualities does Lindelof possess that attracted Mourinho to him?
He is a modern player, good with his feet and his head, and a centre-back that could also be used as an offensive weapon with his passing game. He is also a smart player and a genuinely good person.
He is a very humble guy with both feet on the ground and very popular among his teammates in the Swedish national team.

Who says Lindelof is weak in the air?Sounds like a good signing, but it's worrying, if it's true, that he's weak in the air. With Bailly being shit at it too, it could be problematic.
Thought I'm the only one who loves the Oxford comma. We should start a club.No Oxford comma in the thread title is mildly irritating.
% aerial duels won in the leagueBased on?
He's so good he doesn't even go up for corners.
Yea exactly, this guy has many different looks, plus he looks a bit old too with shaved head.Looks like a mix of Herrera and Ross Barkley in the 2nd photo. Looks completely different with his head shaved.
Who says Lindelof is weak in the air?
Bit harsh on Bailly too.
