Villarreal CF vs. Manchester United

andersonsonson as a second striker

evans starting

tevez benched even when berba injured .... :x

PIG,
O'Shea, Rio, Evans, Evra
CR, carrick, Fletcher, Anderson,
Rooney, Ronaldo

As given on ITV4 if my quick glance recorded it accurately.

Doubt it'll be a 4-4-2, and switch CR with Nani.

I reckon it'll be a 4-3-3. Nani on the left, Ronnie on the right and Rooney up top.

Im disappointed that Manucho didnt make the bench. I thought that was a certainty considering that Berbatov and Welbeck are not there. We are putting a lot of trust in our midfielders to lead the line and score goals for this game. Anderson behind Rooney will be something to watch. Hopefully they will provide the cutting edge we need.

You can tell Sir Alex really wants Anderson to start scoring goals.

It's as though he's been told to take more chances on goal.

It's a good decision if true, his confidence will grow even more once he starts scoring.

Glad Giggs isn't starting, that midfield looks very strong.

Would have liked to see Rafael start but I'm happy enough with that team.

Is this the first time we've seen a central trio of Anderson, Carrick and Fletcher since the 4-0 against Arsenal?

Cant see anderson being that advanced in the game, its in his blood to stay back and plug the gaps that the advancing players leave. annoyingly.

If Anderson is actually going to play that high up, I'll be very happy.
Cant see anderson being that advanced in the game, its in his blood to stay back and plug the gaps that the advancing players leave. annoyingly.

Or maybe it isn't and that's just the way he's been used at United.

The future of our midfield

Carrick...Fletcher
.....Anderson.....

Freed up to wreak havoc, or so we all hope he will

If Rooney doesn't find himself too isolated and the likes of Nani and Ronaldo can provide close enough support, we may see some goals yet.

No Rafael, we iz gon die...

I'll be surprised if Anderson lines up behind the striker. The lineup will probably look more like:

PIG
O'No Ferdinand Vidic Evra
Fletcher Carrick Anderson
Ronaldo Nani
Rooney

Anderson hattrick easy.

No Rafael again !?

apart from that a good team.

I fail to see why people were expecting him to start.

At least now, after some shoddy performances, people have stopped with the "TEVEZ ON THE BENCH :mad::mad:" nonsense we had earlier in the season.
