Nice to be playing at 3pm. Hopefully we can put in a decent performance after last weeks disaster.

The North London derby is always a tasty game, hopefully as Spurs have not played in Europe mid-week they will turn up for this one.

Arsenal vs Spurs

Hope Spurs get something out of this. Would benefit us in more ways than one. Nice way to start the weekend.

Biggest day in the football calendar this, bar none. Can't wait to get to the Emirates. I'm not going to make a prediction because tempting fate isn't my scene.

History does not give Spurs much hope today (from the Beeb website)...

• Arsenal's 2-1 loss at White Hart Lane in April was their first defeat to Tottenham in 21 league games.

• Spurs have won only one Premier League game away to Arsenal, a 3-1 victory in May 1993. The Gunners have taken 29 points from a possible 33 in their last 11 league games against their north London rivals.

• Tottenham have kept one clean sheet in their last 23 Premier League matches against Arsenal

Also, Nasri and Gallas can't stand each other, wonder if anything will happen in the game between those two.

It's time

We've got the players, the fitness is better than for some while, the selection options, confidence from two 6 point away games ...no excuses

Although Spurs these days are good it's time to really put in a home performance and give it to them

If the boys are up for it, and they should'nt need any motivation to be so, we can get three valuable points and look serious contenders

Come on the Arse!

You always beat Spurs at home. Beating them yet again makes you no more "serious contenders" than United, after turning them over at Old Trafford.

Routine three points for Arsenal. At least it should be.

Exactly. Don't quite know how just beating Spurs will make them title challengers all of sudden. Their last two games were hard and they won, today will be a simple win for them especially with Huddlestone out. Won't be surprised to hear after the game that "these are the sort of games they never used to win" though. Seems to be said after every win

Corrected.

Spurs have a wretched record against the big teams. Any of them beating Spurs doesn't make their title credentials any stronger.

On a more crucial note - if you had to replace Gerrard in your fantasy football team would you go for Malouda, Chamakh or Gyan??????

Should be with all personel invloved - but routine hardly - rival derby's are always a little unpredictable.

Every game you've had against city in the last twenty years should have been routine should'nt it ? but has it?

They had some good wins against you during that time - Is that routine then?

Spurs have not beaten you at the Emirates/Highbury since what 93? It's not going to change. At WHL I would expect you'll to drop points but not at home to Spurs. Spurs are rubbish away from home to any of the top 4.

Eh?

It's Arsenal v Spurs today.

I'd be amazed if Arsenal don't turn Spurs over easily.

Expect waving of imaginary cards and penalties today then ;)

The Asian handicaps favor Arsenal, I hope I am taking advantage of it by betting on Spurs.

Can't believe Crouch is not playing considering Fabianski's weakness dealing with crosses into the box

It's going to get embarrassing for Spurs today. THey look woeful defensively. Especially down the left.

I can't believe Spurs are in the UCL. That's just horrendous stuff. What on earth was Gomes doing?

Spur are shit. That said, I'm the sure the best player in the world'll turn things around for Spur. Oh wait....
