Weekend Fixtures 20/21 November

its a joke chelsea have lost 4 times yet are still top, shame we drawn too many games to let them off the hook....

Yes, they've lost 4 times and are still top. But, then you could say we've played nowhere near our best, but yet find ourselves level on points with them at the top. If they hadn't lost so many games already, they'd be way ahead but then again, if we hadn't drawn so many games already we'd be top right now. It's just a weird season at the moment.

If we can hit anywhere near top gear, then the league is there for the taking.

No Scott Parker = No West Ham.

They're going especially mental on RAWK, claiming they'd be in with a shot of winning the league if they'd kept Saint Rafa.

they are claiming only 9 points off the top and dreaming of the league title

blah not used to see the scousers getting a home banker win.

3-0 Liverpool. The attack started when the ref signalled advantage for Liverpool when a Liverpool player struck a West Ham player with his arm. I'll never know how that made any sense to the ref

West Ham "supporters" already leaving the place.

They are going to rack up a cricket score, west ham are a joke.

Munich Leverkusen 1-1 at the break. Good game. Gomez for Munich and Vidal for Leverkusen.

Villareal 1-0 down at home to Valencia.

Villarreal equalised just as you typed. 1-1 Rossi scored :D

Of course it is, was it ever off?

On another note 3-0 up at home in a season where they've hardly been flush with wins and the only ones you can hear singing at anfield are the hammers fans, the ones that bothered to stay that is.

Best fans in the world those scousers.

well at least the scousers here will be back to post.

should be good for a laugh ;)

Yeah, West Ham squad is unbelievably poor.

People were touting them for Europe at the start of last season because they had a couple of flashy players.

Incredibly Liverpool are 3 points from 4rth. The midfield teams have really closed the gap to the rest. Very few easy matches especially away from home. The league is as tight as a virgin.

Yet Chelsea & United are the top 2, most likely will be come May too.

Dan on 606: "Good start at Ewood Park. But we mustn't count our... never mind."

This made me laugh on BBC Live
1249: Saying that, Manchester City are playing.
1248: Well luckily for you lot, I don't believe in all that rubbish. I say you make your own luck. I say I am the goal king and I say today we're in for a treat. Who's with me?
1245: Now then people, Saturday's Premier League action produced 23 goals, three red cards, six penalties and more incident than you could wave a very large stick at. Anyone think we might be in for a couple of right royal borefests today?

I love watching Villa play, if I'm being honest. Lots of young British players, good counter attacking football, whilst they still have that defensive vulnerability that makes them exciting too.

It's like Arsenal, only the British version :p

But on a serious note, your right. They play some good stuff and keep producing very good and exciting British players.
