Wes Brown released by Sunderland

As soon as Mark Wright, off the telly, got offered a trial by Sam allardyce I thought it could spell the end for wes. Clearly big sam has let success get to his head and he's just going to prove he can avoid relegation with more and more ridiculous teams, I expect him himself to be starting left wing by 2018-19.

I only can wish him the best.. one of my favorite united players forever. I will always remember his tackling to A. Robben in FA cup, so hard and ruthless.. :D

Wes Brown was so under-rated during his time. An absolute monster of a defender, he done a great job at right back in 2008 when we won the Champions League. Gary Neville set the bar extremely high for what I expected of a right back but Wes more than met those expectations that season. Loved the guy as a player and it's sad the way he's going out. He doesn't half have a great collection of honours though.

Thanks Wes.

I remember an away game in London, the pub we were in was all Reds. All singing "we've got Wesley Brown" to the tune of knees up mother Brown.
