Half time! Been quite even except for number of chances created, they are battling like hell.

Didn't see it as I went to get a beer, but I heard the commentary saying something about Barthez making a dreadful clearance, straigh out for a throw in to them, only went about 20 metres. Maybe it was that?

Good team display so far, we could be 2 or 3 up.

Rio made a really poor mistake early on, but Becks played a fantastic ball in to Ruud a few minutes later, easy finish.

Scholesey scored with a class goal. One-two with Keane and Ruud, pulled back by Roy, finished by Scholes.

Ruud was said to be struggling since the 10th minute, i'm not sure he'll be out for the 2nd half.

I meant that we don't create chances from our corners, so I don't get excited when we get one.

I know what you mean, radio have written off WBA but with the height of Dichio and pace of Roberts they could have another goal in them.

At least no Alan Green on Radio 5 today. :D

overall ... rio and oshea arent exactly small players so youd expect them to score some ... good height means feck all tho, see crasten jancker ... its about timing
