You know what...I think the game has been delayed for 15 minutes.

Who's this Bardsley kid? Never heard of him.

He was a member of the Youth Cup winning team and is now in the reserve team making his first team debut this game.

hmm. sounds like the youngsters are in trouble.
Come on United, .....be careful

Thought we had a pretty good half after a shaky start. Passing it well and keeping the ball, although a bit light weight up front. Away support is fantastic, as usual.

Decent match so far. We were outplayed for the first 15-20 minutes but we were the better team after that IMO.

1-0 is probably a fair result, Butt had a great chance to score after Bellion had made a run on the left and produced a great cross.

Good penalty save from Carroll and a fantastic save early on when Pugh tried to score an own goal (wouldn't have counted though).

We're playing 4-4-1-1 with Ronaldo playing off Bellion. Fletcher is on the right but not really a winger, haven't seen much of him.

It's easy to see that we're younger and smaller but we can turn this around, our passing has been good once we got the ball moving.

Just read on matchtracker WBA earned a penalty. Pugh tripped a WBA player inside the box. Carroll saves!!!

Is Bardsley a CB, RB, or LB?

Bardsley RB, JOS & Tierney CB, Pugh LB.

After a slow start United really started to take control and created a few chances. Ronaldo has started playing just behind Bellion like i wanted :D and he, Butt, JOS and Richardson are playing well. Kleberson started very well but started to fade out of the game near the end of the half. Carroll also playing well with a great penalty save (which might have saved Lampard's penalty ;) ). All in all after the penalty save United really started to threaten and if they continue in the second half like they finished the first they will score.

My Quick run down:

Same problem as we had on Sunday, decent defensively, good passing, but nothing in the final 3rd.

Defence took a while to settle but settled well eventually.

Great save Carroll for the penalty. Pugh continues to baffle me, in terms of why hes playing in the first place.

We had some nice movement, we just need a presence in the box, perhaps take of Richardson and stick on Nardiello, Johnson would be perfect but unfortunatly hes at the Youth World Cup.

Baardsleys closed down well, as has Butt in the middle of the park.

Away support brilliant.

Overall, not to bad, but we need something with more presence upfront, and a bit more of a cutting edge in and around the penalty area.

He's playing RB. Had a decent half, nothing special but he hasn't made any mistakes either.

Tierney is struggling a bit at CB though.

Good game, enjoying it so far.

Positives : Kleb and Ron linking well. Ron is showing real determination and leadership out there. Bellion starting to motor and Butt / O'Shea & Fletch beginning to assert themselves. Good save by Roy from the penalty.

Jury out on Tierney and Pugh, I'm afraid. Richardson showing great energy but not a lot more. Bardsley's not figured much so far.

Bellion is more effective out wide. Ludicrous having him lead the line as he can't hold the ball with his back to goal. One push in the back from a Baggie defender and the ball just ricochets off him. Not sure where Djemba is tonight but we could do with him keeping order out there.

It's not a strong looking bench, but I'd go 4-3-3, with Nardiello leading the line (Richardson off) and Ronaldo left / Bellion right. Just go for it.

I'm starting to feel very encouraged by Ronaldo and Kleberson's performances.

I've heard that Djemba is in Cameroon with his sick mother.

4-3-3 could work. I'd like to see Eagles though, based on how he performed against Leeds he could have a good time against WBA.

Kleberson's touch and passing really is very impressive. Bellion needs to learn how to time his runs.

It seems a cracking 2nd half, they hit the post then Kleberson had a good chance saved n one minute

Ronaldo was caught offside 7 times and Ron got 6 :D

Umm, the team were offside 8 times, i think 4 for Ronaldo and 4 for Bellion.

2-0 WBA, unlucky against run of play good headed finish.

Defender push Ronaldo's head as he tryed to head the ball, should have been a penalty.

Ronaldo would have scored if he hadn't got that push. Any other ref would have given it.

There's definitely a goal in this team but we need to throw another attacking player on - don't leave it till the last minute SAF....

Kinell, juust woke up and found ourselves 2-0 down
