Very nice excuse. You must learn that from Hollieur :D

Errr, no, said the same last year.

I'm consitant I am. I just do not like the competition, it's a waste of time other than giving youngsters experience, or in rare circumstances getting team moral going.

I would never want to win the fecker. AAnd we did once! :annoyed:

they were all shite :nono:, £12m for Ronaldo is proving to be a joke :wenger:

feck you then, if you don't respect the competition then don't, I'm sure others that enjoy it will continue to. I am dissapointed at Fergie's latest comments about the competition. Many stories suggest he has a different outlook on the competition this year, how can it change each year. Last year we played our big guns and we nearly won it, it didn't do any harm to these players so they can collect medals as much as possible. This year the outlook has changed, he plays a half experience/young side which was lucky to beat Leeds United. We get West Bromwich Albion in the next round and he plays Youth/Reserves. You either want to win it or you don't, he has already messed about with this competition years ago and failed to gain anything with great losses such as losing 3-0 to York City and Aston Villa playing full youth teams. I understand players get tired but after the loss at Chelsea, maybe we should have played quite a few of the players to get morale back up especially after a defeat to our rivals. I will like to read the exact articles of Fergie which were quoted on MUTV yesterday. It seems our reserves/youth are not good enough on last nights performance, yes we played well and passed the ball about like a good team but the finished product was missing. I wish Forlan was playing yesterday as we had no goal threat up front and our defence was very inexperienced to say the least. I agree with one caller on MUTV who stated that our youngsters are not good enough, look at Arsenal who have some great youngsters and back up players who can beat Wolves 5-1. Some may argue if we were at home to W.B.A, we would have won but I don't think so, the same team would have struggled against a First Division side on the up but we should really have beaten them if we played a better side. I will always look forward each year for the League Cup draw as it means quite alot to me alongside the other trophies. Chelsea played their match with first teamers that played on Sunday and even if they have a better squad, still had a full first team bench. Our bench was dissapointing, maybe he should have put some first teamers in the team so that they could help the youngsters. Anyway, there goes the competition hopes for this year, same again next year, don't count on it!
