There's the U21 final tomorrow so I doubt he'll get too much of a run out. Ironically it's their good performances in the youth cup that probably means that a few of the younger players won't get a chance to play today.

Ah forgot about that. A ten minute run out would be good in that case.

I bet Janujaz will be the last ever Fergie sub...giving youth a chance and all that :)

Guess I'll never get to see Nani play for Utd again.

SAF, tormenting me til the end.

It doesn't feel right, somehow knowing SAF was going but with games left isn't nearly as bad as realised this is it, the last game under him.

Thanks for everything Sir Alex.

he has spent all his career as a winger and has played a number of games at right back for us when rafael hasnt been available. He is still a winger.

Oh yeh of course but I was just saying doesn't look like he's playing as one today. He still could be but it looks as though the full backs are providing the width today which I found interesting.

I watched the Awards montage the other night, and it got 'round to 1996-99 - fantastic victories, titles, cups etc etc - and then it struck me: 'Christ, there's still loads of success to come, even after all this!' What a manager, what a man.

I think so too. Posted this in the Press Conference thread on Friday:

I think there's a chance Januzaj could be the last sub he ever makes. We wouldn't see that much of him but with the game on Monday it was unlikely he was ever going to play a big part. Fergie has praised Januzaj a fair bit over the last few weeks or so, so it would be fitting that his last sub is a player who will hopefully play a part for us over the coming years.

Not so sure on that now, with a new manager coming in ,i'm sure he will want to re examine the current team.

Carrick still doesn't get a rest.

Cheers West Brom.

Great respect from West Brom. First giving our players a guard of honour and then lining up with our players to give Sir Alex a guard of honour. Well done Baggies!

Some pricks booing out Sir Alex Ferguson  Most were very nice.
