Great game of football though. Really enjoyed it even though we should have won at a canter. Lukaku made all the difference and I wonder why he was only a sub.
Bit harsh of Giggs to point SAF to the exit and say "just go", but probably fair after throwing away a 3 goal lead in such a massive game.

Well, that's that. It seems positively surreal - he's done. Well, a surreal day apart from the background story of Spurs, sadly, failing to achieve a CL place; that brought in a sense of normality to proceedings.

While that is true it also happened in the first half to some extend and they got back to 2-3 before any subs were made.
So blaming it on Scholes and Giggs is a bit too easy for my taste, of course Scholes has shown again that he can't keep up physically with the game in the PL.
On top of that Büttner and Lindegard probably were our weakest link through out the entire game and they were not subbed on.
Does it? Im pretty sure thats your first 5-5 and usually his teams are pretty tight! At least recently they have been.

I'd say lots of attacking, sometimes ropey defence, proper entertainment and a new record is exactly summing up us under Sir Alex.

Shame Fergie couldn't bow out with a triumphant win, but it doesn't really matter. Such an entertaining game. Pure calamity in the 2nd half. I thought we were going to dick them when it got to 5-2.
