Frenetic start, some nice attacking play by us.
Fortune holds onto the ball for too long IMO, seems to get caught in possession a lot.
Ruud scores from a very offside position, correctly given off side. Scholes played the through ball.
west Ham nearly scored rom a good cross.
Mickey's positioning, always comes in too central. That was their best attack, Defoe is speedy and got in a good cross.

Another good attack by West Hamm running at our defence. Its end to end stuff.
O'Shea backpassed it to Barthez but we got away with it. Who's the ref? He's on our side for once.

A 4-3-3 and a 4-4-2 can be 4-5-1 in disguise because that one player further up, or down is a matter of opinion or a figment of your imagination.

It's just not clicking around their penalty box. Lots of misplaced passes when in threatening positions.
Where's Giggs playing? Seems to be central.
