West Ham v Manchester Red

Expecting Anderson to pop out back for this one.

Nothing on physioroom about Rafa. If he is injured, I'd play Jones again. Other than that, I'd like to see this:

Rafael Evans Vidic Evra
Carrick Cleverley
Welbeck Rooney Kagawa
RVP

For realism's sake, I guess it's going to be Valencia not Welbeck. But I hope that for once Fergie gives Kagawa a couple of games in a row. He was very good today.

EDIT: Oh, and wtf is going on with the OP? Proper car crash.

Glad to hear Rafael is fit but I think he may still end up on the bench and Fergie will go for Jones due to his height. If Kagawa plays I'd like to see him play behind the striker and use Welbeck on the left, that way Fergie can add in even more height for the set pieces and allow Kagawa to play in his best position.

Expecting Anderson to pop out back for this one.

Pop out back? it makes him sound like turd.

We've had a couple of rather dull 1-0s against West Ham already this season. I reckon SAF will go for a very attacking team again with goals in it.

de Gea
Rafael Smalling Evans Evra
Carrick Cleverley
Valencia Rooney Welbeck
van Persie
--
Lindegaard; Jones, Buttner; Anderson, Giggs, Kagawa; Hernandez

I'd like to see one of Vidic or Ferdinand continue even though this game might come a little soon. We probably will see one of them start here then miss the Villa game, but at the moment I don't mind which centrebacks start for us too much.

Cleverley should probably be given another game in the middle by now and I expect Valencia to keep getting game time in hope of finding some form. Kagawa should probably get a run in the team as well, but I think Welbeck will be starting this one.

We won't take our foot off the gas until after the Chelsea game when I believe the title will be done and dusted (probably before then, though). So, we'll see the likes of Scholes, Anderson, Kagawa, Welbeck, Hernandez, Buttner, and maybe even Powell given a short run to end the campaign.

This game is quite important, but avoid defeat and I think we'll have the title won either when Chelsea come to Old Trafford or after we at least avoid defeat to Chelsea. Would love to just win the next three though and call it a day, even if it's at the expense of our remaining games not mattering at all.

Would be surprised to see Vidic play. Will be Ferdinand with either Smalling or Jones.

I'd like to see more of Jones at CB. Carroll isn't great but he is a handful physically. I think Jones has more about him than Smalling in terms of dealing with big strong players.

Ideally it would be Vidic, but I can't see him playing again so soon after Sunday.

If we win this game, then our next game is Villa at home, who we should be tearing apart realistically. Then we only need a draw at the Emirates to win the league. I definitely think that is doable. I hope it happens too, so RVP is crowned Champion at his former home, and Chelsea have to give us a guard of honour whilst Eden Hazard looks on at what could have been

That would be sweet!

Going to be a tough one. WHU actually have a little bit of form, and for whatever reason we're not great at Upton Park. Add in the fact that as a team we don't love the hoofball defending, and I can definitely see us conceding.

Will be key to get an early goal and quiet down the crowd. WHU don't need the points, so if we can get in front at half time, I can see big Sam taking it easier ahead of his wine with Fergie.

But if we let them keep hoofing it at De Gea and the score close, then we're in for trouble.

If we win tomorrow the league really is over.

This is going to be a tough game, I've little doubt about that.

I don't expect us to be close to our best(we haven't been since the Madrid game), but hopefully the confidence has gone up a bit after that win at Stoke. It'll also be very interesting to see if that peno has done RVP a world of good, I really hope it has, cause we might just need him at his best here.

Will be a tough game tomorrow, but I'm looking forward to it. Our away support has been fantastic all year, and hopefully that continues tomorrow night.

We are obviously in control at the top, but that doesn't give us the right to slack off, and a win tomorrow will hopefully keep the momentum going until the end of the season.

Make sure those of you who are going bring your voices with you, and as I say, let's make our end bounce.

Anything to make this happen please. Lets show the prick the mistake he made. And hopefully Chelsea will be eased out of the 4th spot which will be even sweeter since he wont be able to play in the Champions League next season.

Both teams on the beach already, intensity could be a problem here.

I didn't see it but Carroll is said to have scored i fine header the other week, additionally our defensive qualities weren't at their best in the Cup at their place so something to be on our toes about.

We should do to West Ham what Spartacus did to Batiatus: beat the shit out of them until their entrails become their extrails.

A message needs to be sent that Man United earned this trophy, and did not limp into it because our rivals were so weak.

2011 - 4-2 win
2010 - 4-0 win
2009 - 1-0 win
2008 - 2-1 loss
2007 - 1-0 loss
2006 - 2-1 win

Not that bad, and the two losses came during the Christmas fixture buildup.

Our records alright, but there have been some scares throughout those. I expect us to win, but they'll probably lump their way to a goal.

Blooody West Ham United, they're like Stoke, think they're big rivals with us. Their fans hate us and I loved it when they went down. Would love to see a nice 3 or 4 niller here. About time we had a decent performance and a few goals to enjoy.

I'd usually be shitting this one (epsecially had we not beaten Stoke) but I'm expecting good things from this game tonight. The players can feel number 20, so I reckon they'll be well up for it.

I hope Rafael doesn't start, WHU are too grim for him.

Just Win.

Don't care if it's a entertaining performance/game or not.

de Gea, Rafael, Jones, Ferdinand, Evra, Carrick, Anderson, Nani, Valencia, van Persie, Hernandez.

3-1 United.

It seem Winston Reid might be fit for this game. Shame, I would have loved to see the awful player Pogatetz start.

That 4-2 in 2011 was great - the one where we turned it around again and Rooney swore into the camera. He has a good scoring record against West Ham, so I reckon he, along with van Persie, will be on the scoresheet.

3-1.

I was at that game, it was one of the best away games I have ever been to!

I remember it so clearly it was a lovely day and the atmosphere was great, the two pens that noble scored were right in front of the united end, and the west ham fans were inevitably loving it at half time.

Despite being 2 down, the united fans were still in good voice and I was sitting next to 5 guys all in fancy dress - one was in Lederhosen, one was dressed as where's wally, one was a sailor, another was the the guy in the wheelchair from little britain (Lou/Andy i can't remember) and the 5th guy was blind drunk and dressed in a little dress and i don't think he saw any of the game or knew what was going on.

Anyway, we got a free kick and i turned to wally, a man i had never met before, and we both agreed that we had not scored a free-kick for a while and were due one, Rooney scored it and that started our little bond, as each goal went in me and the 5 guys got more and more excited in our celebrations, and then for a reason unbeknown to me, the second rooney got his third to make it 2-3 to us, my immediate instinct was to grab the guy dressed as where's wally and put him on my shoulders.

It was an amazing day, ranks right up there with the 3-5 at spurs that I went to back in 2001.

Just when you've got over Stoke along comes West ham. We just need to keep an inform Carroll undercontrol and we'll be okay. 0-3

Recently we've been pretty happy to sit off the ball and counter attack. That's fair enough against some teams, but it's not the most efficient way to beat West Ham. They just don't have the technical ability to break quickly (provided Vidic sticks to Carroll). Once we pin them in their own box, they'll be stuck there for good.

So hopefully we'll see not just an attacking team, but attacking tactics. Committed team pressing not cagey sitting-off. Quick, purposeful passing. Killer instinct in the box.

Hopefully it's a good night for everyone making the trip down. West Ham can switch up their play a bit so there has to be an element of caution in regards to simply expecting them to lump it to Carroll...but at the same time we should beat them comfortably if we create chances.

I'm not going to say I hope our wingers have a good game, because that wish is evidently not going to happen so hopefully we carry on as we have been from set-pieces and breaking through the middle with RVP, Rooney or Hernandez scoring from some decent link up.

If they put the same calibre of crosses in as in the Cup tie i think we'll probably concede [sometimes a goal is simply too good] but we ought to have enough, besides there shouldn't be the same sort of tinkering by Fergie this evening.

1-2 i'm thinking.

I'd fancy us at the Trad Brick Stadium. Will be a tough game away from home. 1-2.

Could be right ,and it looks like being breezy out there. 1-3

West ham looked like shit at the weekend against southampton and a point flattered them. Theyre create nothing and if we can cope with constant fouling we'll be fine, just gotta hope theres a ref who will book constant fouls

This better be a good match and a good win. It's my mums birthday and I've turned down the family dinner out tonight to watch this. Top Red
