West Ham vs. Manchester United

1 We need someone that can use the ball in central midfield

2 Tevez-Saha isn't working and it looks like Tevez isn't giving 100%...

3 We need to bring down the tempo
 
Too many hairy moments for comfort. We'll need another by the looks of things.
 
Ronaldo playing very well. Ferdinand, PIG and Vidic as well. The rest doenst really play well so far.
 
I tell you, if we had had some of their chances but still only have a by our name, we'd be rather disappointed, and wary.

The pressrue will tell eventually, if we don't do something. Midfield needs to step up to the plate.
 
Hargreaves needs to turn up for the second half. Not that Fletcher is having much of an effect either, but this is where Hargreaves should be showing his worth.

Their central midfield has been very good, like a knife through butter at times. And Solano has been great too.

PIG is doing very well. Saha playing well too - Tevez needs to move the ball quicker.
 
how we are winning this game is a complete mystery

i would go 4-3-3

push giggs left, saha down the middle and ronaldo right

replace Tevez with Anderson to shore up the midfield

he is, he has been the only one putting the boot in and winning the ball midfield
 
I'd like to see Anderson instead of Fletcher in the second half. Old Anderson can shield the ball really well and beat a man, and still play a good pass. Hargreaves is having to tackle their entire midfield on his own because Fletcher just is not in this game at all.
 
Not a brilliant performance so far.

Great goal on the counter.

Fletcher isn't up to it in midfield so we're playing an effective 4-5-1 with Saha on his own, and Tevez on the left which ain't right.

Bring Anderson on in his place and I guarantee 2 Tevez goals in the second half.

WH should have scored atleast once by now

Man Utd only had one shot on target, luckily for you it went in

Solano playng really well

This game isn't over and WH look to be switching to a 4-4-2 for the second half with Ashton replacing either Noble or Mullins
 
i thought Fletcher was doing ok btw

theres just no out ball at the moment, WH are congesting things
 
Barring the first goal, everybody's been casual and sloppy really. Bad first touch, lazy passing, poor decisions etc etc. But we're 1-0 ahead. Hopefully Anderson comes on, he'll be a real presence because we're not winning anything through the middle.

Cole's been a real handful. As has Solano. Parker's really annoying with the way he closes down people.

Fortunately for us, PIG's been flying today.

If two people are running full pelt and one of them just stops, it's not a penalty if the other's momentum keeps them going.

Plus it wasn't a clear goalscoring opportunity, was it? The ball was going nowhere. You won a penalty like that earlier in the season when Bellamy virtually kicked the ball out of play but still fell over the 'keeper.
