Westminster Politics

It’s funny how many are saying he should go/resign “with dignity”.

That ship sailed a long long time ago.

If you’re wondering why he’s hanging on for dear life:

Maybe not this specifically but while he’s in charge he can control the outcome of investigations like this.

He has been avoiding admitting this for so long, what on earth possessed him to admit it now in the middle of this shit-storm?

What's the point in not resigning now? Any tangible incentive for Bojo in dragging out the inevitable?
Not sure I believe it a stubborn pride type thing.

Watching the liaison committee, it baffles me why anyone would want to continue under such an assault. Surely there’s a white flag time for everyone

It's simple with Johnson, it's power. The longer he stays in power, the more he can influence for his own self gain after office.

At this rate it will be Nadine & Boris v everybody

It’s nice to see him burning bridges and extending his own painful downfall, it’s just a shame another self serving Tory bellend will take his place.

What is most flabbergasting is that Johnson was a known liar, he's not even a very good liar but the British electorate still believed him about Brexit and then went on to vote for him as PM.
Being told by him that Britain is the best at everything is enough to keep them happy; ffs.

Ben Swain for Chancellor at this rate, all that's left is Boris forgetting how to walk at the cenotaph.
