Who is better: Sanchez or Hazard

Who is better?

Mental to think this was posted THIS YEAR and was an actual discussion at the time. Talk about falling off a cliff.

I know Pogba can be frustrating sometimes but this guy is just like those crooks who work in wall street.

 Poor man’s Messi vs Ronaldo thread. One clearly has been and will continue to be better at almost every aspect of football but the other guy’s numbers persuaded people who watch highlights and big games only it was close.

I’d love to see discussions when Zidane was at his very best and to see what great but not elite players people would argue were better than him because they scored a few more goals than him

Sometimes, all you need to judge a player on are your eyes.

Sanchez of 18 months ago was arguably the best player in the league. Right around the time he was step-over lobbing bitches for fun.

Now he’s barely PL standard. The odd creative moment aside he offers more to the opposition than to us. Looks absolutely shot physically and is totally incapable of producing what he once could, yet he doesn’t seem to know it.

I think we all tried to convince ourselves his poor form for Arsenal was due to him being unsettled. The reality is becoming more obvious - He was done then and he’s done now. How quickly he declined is incredible.

We thought we were buying the Sanchez from December 2016 but we've inherited a really poor out of form player.

Hazard 100% is the better player at this moment but Sanchez on top form is better.

Well what a difference a year can make. Although last season at that time Sanchez had been poor for Arsenal before we got him too. People hoped he could find his form again with us, but he declined fast instead.

It doesn't matter, No version of Sanchez was better than Hazard.

To be fair no one expected Alexis to fall off a cliff like he did.

Not quite this badly but he was always going to decline quite steeply at some point given explosiveness and speed were his biggest assets, players who rely a lot on physical attributes tend to fall hard once they wane. Essien is another example, was a beast in his prime but come the end was horrendously bad, if we only ever had the 2010-2013 version he would be considered one of our worst ever players (yes he honestly was that bad after his second injury).

Hazard is better now but also because he's a couple of years younger. There isn't much difference for me between the two when they were at their best. You could toss a coin if you need to choose one to win the game for you and you wouldn't be fussed either way

Was this actually a question at one point? Hazard always had the most talent and ability compared to Alexis since the day they both began playing football.
