Who is going to be the Next Prime Minister of the UK? | Be your stubborn best

Haven't heard from Boris yet.Would not be surprised if he stands down.

I want it to be Boris so I can see him try to weasel his way out of the lies of the Leave campaign when it becomes apparent he can't negotiate almost anything he promised.

Disgrace of a politician.

Towel comes in from Warrior of the Common Man - Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson

Amazed by that - got to be May now surely, Gove can't be a serious challenge to her at this stage.

Tory leader is a poison chalice at the moment. Who ever gets in will not probably get the deal those who voted to leave wanted.

fecks the country over then runs and hides. fecking cnut.

Obviously thinks he stands a better chance next time around.

Could be a boost to Andrea Leadsom . As Boris supporters look for a leave candidate.

Tory chief right now is like the job after SAF : whoever gets it is truly screweD

for me, that's the inevitable endgame, atm & I suspect they all know (except the most deluded of the UKIP & RW Tories)

depends how you get there though

Whole EU might collapse at this rate, you never know

Wow, didn't see that coming. Guy's an even bigger cnut than we first thought.
Just imagine what his life has been like since Friday morning.

Had he run, it would have gotten 20 times worse

Regardless, Boris is guaranteed a huge cabinet role in next Government.

May will win and her first statement as PM should be along the lines of "if you want me to invoke Article 50, then I want another referendum to say that is still the will of the Country. Otherwise we remain."

if she can pull that off, i want her in.

Boris will come out in support for someone like Javid, mark my words.

Gove's burnt his bridges on a personal level, whilst May has shown herself to be dangerous and two-faced with the membership.

She'd be gone before the Ides.

A leader who wasn't elected by the people, won't call an election for 4 years and will ignore the will of the people after a democratic referendum. Yeah, nah, she can feck off.

What makes you think that? Because she was on the remain side?

Isn't Javid backing Stephen Crabb already ?

And someone with his name and lineage being elected the leader of conservatives seems unlikely right now.
