Thanks, I didn't know I was that funny :nervous:

To be fair the backline four and the front two is probably what we'll see, unless Evra gets picked ahead of O'Shea.

So I assume you're disagreeing with my preference of having David Jones in midfield alongside Fletcher, Carrick and Scholes. You're right...its gut-wrenchingly hilarious.

I left out Giggsy because I don't want to risk his fitness for the upcoming CL tie - I forgot about him while picking the bench though, as he should be there instead of Richardson.

If Giggsy doesn't start, Fergie's most likely choice for the left wing will be Richardson, but I think he's form has been shite this season. He played very poorly in his last start for us, and I would rather experiment with Jones at LM (where he did well for NEC) than have an ineffective Richardson as LW.

I know we want to see Jones get his chance but i cant see it happening tomorrow at Wigan. Its too important a game to risk an untried youngster when we have other and probably better alternatives. I also think Evra will start and if O'Shea is to play then it will be the holding role that he's been occupying so far this season.

I'd rather Ole started the game over Jones and we go all out with a 4-4-2 playing both Ronnie and Ole on the wings. Or if not then Ole up front with Saha, and Rooney dropping to the bench. It makes sense with the bigger games coming up. I'm expecting at least one of our bigger names to be sitting out tomorrow may that be Saha, Rooney or Ronaldo. All i'm hoping is that no matter what Richardson doesnt get near that pitch because he is fecking useless.

I know its unrealistic to hope Fergie will hand someone like Jones a start - he'd sooner start Richardson. But I just reckon that Jonah might be more effective than Richardson, if Giggs isn't fit.
I don't know if Solskjaer can play a full 90 mins on the wing - I'd rather have him starting upfront, or on the bench ready to come on if we need new ideas in the attack.
Anyway, if Ronaldo and Giggs are injured, Richardson will most likely play unfortuantely. All I was saying is that I personally would rather give Jones a shot on the left - we might end up playing a little narrowly, and would lack pace on the left side (thankfully Chimbonda's not there anymore) but I think Jones has more to offer than Richardson. At least he won't lose possession with every other touch.

I had a dream last night that VDS let in two soft goals when we were 2-0 up. it ended 2-2.
They were really soft goals too.

Against Celtic, Ole played on the left, and to me, at JJB, maybe that is how it will be, g.

A 1-0 win for United will be good enough.

Of course it is.
Every win is good enough. :wenger:
Have you ever been disappointed with a 1-0 win?

Wigan manager Paul Jewell will assess his 12 returning international players before he decides on his final squad.

Andy Webster is close to fitness but is not thought to be ready for his debut while Ryan Taylor and Steve McMillan remain long-term casualties.

Gabriel Heinze (both hamstring) is out of Manchester United's squad, but Ryan Giggs is back and could play a part.

Cristiano Ronaldo hopes to shake off an ankle injury he picked up on international duty.

thanks mate, so what's everyone's opinions on whether Ronaldo will play or not?

MANCHESTER UNITED travel just 25 miles in search of their 150th all-time away victory in the Premier League, which would put them three points clear at the top, at least until Chelsea play at Reading in the early evening fixture.

The Red Devils boast the strongest attack in the highest League, averaging exactly two goals per game - that's precisely double the average of their opponents. Should they be held by Wigan, it would be Manchester United's 1,000th draw in their League history.

United beat Wigan three times last season, including two 4-0 victories in the Premiership at Old Trafford and in the Carling Cup final at the Millennium Stadium.

That looks like the sort of thing Liverpool would do, only with shitter midfielders

Einstein's my great grandfather. So techincally, I am a real Einstein.

Then you should look something like this:

av-53.jpg

No Neville or Ronaldo

-------------------VDS
Brown---- Ferdinand---- Vidic---- Evra
Solskjaer Carrick OShea Scholes Rooney
------------------Saha

I'm deeply sorry about my previous message, those who saw it. Lack of communication between me and my source.

The lineup is like it has been mentioned above

good line-up that

4-3-3

Rooney - Saha - Solskjaer

- - - Scholes - Carrick - - -
- - - - - - O'Shea - - - - -

Josh holding midfielder, could be great with Carrick-Scholes and O'Shea. O'Shea do all the defensive job.
