Superb! Rooney is nearly back to his best and Giggs is back from injury. They both played magnificent in the second half. Absolutely brilliant! feck the 4-3-3. That formation should never be used again.

Huge win!!!
An early kick off after International week, losing to a free kick, nothing seems to be working, it looks like one of those days, and then we end up winning 3-1.

So many positives:
- Rooney very close to his best
- Vidic scores and looks great
- Evra has perhaps his best game for United
- Ole plays well (maybe needs to work on crossing) and gets another goal.


This sets us up so well for a big week ahead.
 
Second half verdict: complete transformation from the first. Giggs made a big difference. All over Wigan.
3-1 probably a fair reflection.
Loved Ole's reaction when he scored! As if to say "'ere y'are! What about that then, eh? Get in."
 
OLE!!! Deserved a goal, was our best player in the first half. Giggs was fecking fantastic when he came on. Rooney as well. Saha's goal was class and Vidic's was superb.

Good game by United. Rooney looked great out there and it seems like his problems are starting to get behind him now. Its only a matter of time when he will score. Again, great to see Ole hit the score sheet. Vidic gets his first goal as a member of united. excellent stuff, definitely securing himself a spot on the starting XI.

I thought Carrick was not bad in the 2nd half. Good passing, good work rate, he even run with the ball (!!!!) once and set up a Rooney chance!

He doesn't shoot though. He delays the shot as much as possible and then tries to pass it towards goals. His run and pass to Rooney was pretty good though.
 
superb performance in 2nd half ,Rooney looked great and close to his best form, Giggs superb comeback, Saha and Ole as well and most important is 3 points

But 99.9% probably think Ole is great in that position, so what makes you think you know better than them, including incidentally the manager.

And Sky gave him Man of the Match. Personally I thought Rooney was MOM, but Ole was obviously up there.

I suppose it's everyone else who is clueless.
 
Missed the game due to work. My mate was keeping me updated by text. I was so busy at work, could not ring him, so I assumed when I was going on my late lunch-break, just around 2.40pm, that his last text of us losing 1-0, was still current & us heading for a defeat !......... What a brill suprise, I was just about to ring him for his analysis , a text came through that we won 3-1 !..... Magic.....f***ing beautiful !

Great win, delighted Rooney had a brillant game !.... Look-out !,the Roo is back ! :devil:
 
great display by the boys today - midfield looked outstanding - glad to see vidic of the mark :D
