Wigan Athletic vs. Manchester United

The only way King will come on is if we have the game well and truly wrapped up.

How about 4-4-2 with O'Shea LB, Fletch RB, Nani RW & Evra LW? I prefer Nani on the right so I'd give it a whirl, SAF won't though.

I think it's 4-4-2 with Fletcher wide right. At least I hope it is, as that makes more sense than playing either Rooney or Hernandez out wide.

Why keep resting Berbatov though? He's barely played any football for nearly a month.

Well he was rubbish playing the lone striker midweek so I guess Fergie decided to try Hernandez there this time. I'm pretty sure Rooney will stuck out on the left again.

Other than the Everton game at 3-1 have we ever been in a truly comfortable position in our away games this season in the PL?

JOS is dripping in sweat (in a studio) during his interview on MUTV now

I think he's keeping him for the next two games, which are tough away games. Also I think he feels he has to play Rooney.

Why use Scholsey for this match when we can save him for the Chelski match? Does Fergie think that Scholes will get over-run against them?

He's not going to play Hernandez as a lone front player. That's too stupid...even for us this season.

I know we did it last week but that was against Crawley, and even so provided all the evidence needed to never do it again.

Rooney's nearly always rubbish in the lone striker role aswell, and so is Berbatov. Basically, it's a crap idea, and I don't think we'd do it against Wigan...but then, we did it at home to Wolves earlier in the season, so who knows.

Another part of my soul wil die if that's how we line up today though.

He'll play 4-4-2 vs Chelsea with Fletcher and Carrick, and look to hit them on the break I think. With Giggs hopefully back in the side so we can switch formation without changing the players if required.

Plus this game is the more important one to win. Otherwise we probably have to win at Stamford Bridge AND at Anfield.

Giggs still isn't fully fit for this game and I don't reckon he fancies playing both of them against a physical team like Chelsea?

That's the only thing I can think of really.

Just realized Scholes is 2 bookings away from a 2 game suspension and Rooney and Giggs are a booking away from 5 yellows

Hopefully Val will return so the giggs suspension can be alright. Scholes out for 2 games will be a loss.. hope he doesnt get 2 in the next 2 games

Don't they all get clean slates fairly soon?

Well it will be 4-3-3 so might as well accept that now ;)

Tbh I'm past caring about the performances and the formations. I just want us to get a win somehow today. It's crucial

Looking at that line-up I've got a feeling that SAF is going to go 442 against Marseille, no messing. Anyway it would be terrific to see the boy King today, he's the kind of player who can really get you out of your seat.

Can we afford to save anyone, looking at our away form? Anyhow, I think he didn't start in France so we can play him toady and on Tuesday.

Must must must must must win game. Decent side given the injuries. Crap selection of streams today so it looks like Im going veetle in Spanish, at least until it gets blocked!

The cutoff point is the end of Feb for 2 yellows so he is safe. The cutoff for 5 yellows was the turn of the year.

I bet it's 4-4-2

It makes a lot more sense with the players picked.

If it's not 4-4-2, it'll change to that at some point due to us playing like utter shite. Just like it ALWAYS does when we try and use it against crap sides.

Will be extremely surprised if we don't go 4-4-2 based on that lineup.
