Wigan Athletic vs Manchester United

feck me, SAF actually did it. Took Rooney off. He's been really really poor. And we have no midfield control so this makes sense.

By the way, we've pretty much lost goal difference tonight, regardless of the result. City now 4 above us again.

Injury surely?

I don't know, maybe we´re getting all the brain farts condensed into one really awful game.

Surely take giggs of not Rooney. Bit worried for Evans too has to be said. But we can't lose here.

For all the haters - haven't we just won like a 100 games in a row before this? Don't get too down about this, we've got time left yet.

Seriously though, the last thing we need right now is a player like Nani trying to win the game on his own every time he touches the ball.

He may end up scoring, but I can't imagine he's going to help a team so disjointed.

Feels like the Fulham game in 08/09.

We went on to win the title then but it could and should have been so much more comfortable. That's not the United way though.

I can only assume Fergie is resting Rooney for the weekend. and conceding this match.

As I said before kick off, at least we're helping a nice team!

All this effort from Wigan. They'll lose the rest of their games now.

Another wasted ball, this time from Cleverley.

Has the team been watching Liverpool?

This is a WBA team that has no Reid, no McAuley, no Ridgewell, no Odemwingie and no Fortune. They were never getting a result against City.
