Since we have the Milan game the Wednesday after this game, I m hoping Fergie might rest a couple of players. If Owen is fit, then Berba and Owen should start. If not give a start to Diouf. Rooney can be on the sub bench in case we need him. I have Carrick instead of Scholes because Carrick is not going to play on Wednesday and Scholes and Fletch HAVE to play.

Go a few goals up, try and get the game put to bed then take Rooney off. He has to start though, just because this is Wolves away doesn't excuse anything. This is a must win match for us, we need to keep on Chelsea's tails and keep ahead of Arsenal.

Owen pulled a hamstring today, i very much doubt he'll be in contention for a few weeks never mind saturday.

I dont think we should leave a bunch of players out for this at all, were in the midst of a very tight title race of which we cant afford slip ups, Wolves gave Chelsea a very hard game only a week ago at their place, we'll need to be strong.

SUBS: Kuszczak, Rafael, Brown, Fletcher, Gibson, Park, Owen (fingers crossed).

Rest Fletcher and Park for the Milan game and make sure we get Rooney off after an hour or so as well.

I understand that but the league is the priority for us not the champions league, in my opinion id like to see us play the best team possible against wolves, make sure we win the game and then make the changes should we choose, were not in the position to start resting half the team, any slight drop in points could prove fatal its a must win game.....as for the following midweek match we have a good advantage over Milan, all we have to do is not lose by 2 clear goals on our home pitch, if we cant do that we dont deserve to be in Europe anyway, plus i think that game is on a wednesday and wolves the saturday, so thats 4 days in between.

Full strength against Wolves, get the job done and then bring off tired legs, the midweek games are only friendlys anyway so hopefully the majority of our team wont play 90 minutes.

Play a strong team like that - if we can go a few goals up early, we can start taking off the likes of Evra, Carrick, and Rooney. Probably replacing them with Brown (going to centre back and Evans to left back), Gibson, and Diouf or Obertan.

Need to keep the pressure on now, don't want to see players rested needlessly,

^
agree with that, except brown for neville.

don't usually like predicting an away win by a huge margin, but i think we can tear wolves apart if we're on our game. im loving valencia, scholes, berba and rooney in the starting line up, it's a joy to watch

4-0 ;)

Hope McCarthy rests a few players, to keep in with the SAF / league / Sky / Referees agreement

Evra is playing against Spain, which means that he will be playing against Spain, he will be playing in France but against Spain and Domenech will be playing him for 90 minutes against Spain, it may be only a friendly but it's a friendly against Spain. It'd be creul to play him against Wolves and Milan the following weak, you may as well suggest playing Rio, Giggs, Anderson and Hargreaves injured too ... because the mere presence of big names are more important than fit players.

Bloody hell Allforone.

I thought Rafael went out w/ a cramp but, read he is going for a scan along with Owen. I really want Evra to get a rest.

Hopefully a couple early to give Rooney and a couple others a rest.

Shouldn't take any chances. We need the strongest team possible. Of course, whoever fit. I am looking forward to a 4-4-2 with a classic 3-0 result.
We need to play Valencia-Berba-Rooney, our winning combination as of late.

A must-win game without a doubt, but it's not going to be easy considering Wolves gave Chelsea quite a good game a couple of weeks ago. We should still have enough and if we truly want to retain our title we must not drop points there. 4-4-2 please...

Van der Sar
Neville - Vidic - Evans - Evra
Valencia - Carrick - Scholes - Nani
Rooney - Berbatov

Van der Sar just got a rest and he won't play mid-week. Park and Rafael should start against Milan and could be rested, so does Fletcher. Nani is a certain to start IMHO, let's hope the suspension didn't damage his good form. 3-0 to us is my guess, an early goal would be good for my nerves ;)

No more than a one goal margin IMO,1-0 or 2-1 win.

They'll look to frustrate our efforts so 0-0 at the end of the first half seems likely i think.

I just can't imagine Scholes starting this game with Milan game on Wednesday. With Carrick suspended for Milan, Scholes has to be starting that game.

Wonder if maybe Giggs makes the bench for this, comes on for 30 min or so and then is available for Milan having got back some match fitness.

I know people might not agree but if Rooney has a slight injury and is playing against Egypt, should we rest him for this game.
