vs That rubbish team with no midfield. Currently top of the table.

We're going to get schooled. Unless we spend 35 mn to buy Hamsik today.

Right, well it's a must win. Put MASSIVE pressure on City before they play the Rent Boy's, who'll hopefully do us a favour...

Giggsy, Carrick and Rio was pulled out. Scholesy was totally rested. I imagined they all will play from the start. I have a feeling Young will be 'rested' but will come in as impact sub together with Hernandez.

....Rafael........Evans...Rio........Evra...
Nani......Carrick....Scholesy......Giggsy
.............Welbeck.....Rooney.............

Is Valencia back for this? We could do with his dynamism right now.

I fecking hope Val and Nani are back.

Rafael------Evans--Smalling-------Fabio

Valencia-----Scholes--Carrick------Nani

I don't expect Valencia to start, but surely he must play a part. I miss my favourite player ffs!

Win, win, win.

SUBS: Amos, Rafael, Smalling, Giggs, Young, Berbatov, Welbeck.

Provided Jones, Nani, Valencia and Rooney are fit of course.

It's vital that we win this match and put some serious pressure on City. We always tend to struggle at Wolves so it won't be too easy but we've been good away from home in the PL this year so I think we should win this 2-1.

Vital. You make it sound like it's Barcelona we are playing. We will beat them Convincingly.

Team should be...

GK: De Gea

RB: Jones
CB: Evans
CB: Ferdinand
LB: Evra

RM: Valencia
CM: Carrick
CM: Scholes
LM: Nani

CF: Rooney
CF: Welbeck

Subs: Amos, Smalling, Cleverley, Giggs, Young, Hernandez, Berbatov

I think this will be a very difficult game, regardless of their new, inexperienced manager or there poor form and lowly league position

We lost there 2-1 last season
Season before we won 1-0 thanks to a Scholes goal, and I remember that was a tough game

I hope I am wrong, and it's a comfortable win, but I think it will be tough, a difficult atmosphere against a team fighting for its life

I'm torn between feeling this and thinking that they are very low on confidence at the moment. Molyneux is a bit of a bogey ground for us and we always seem to struggle there. But if we can get an early goal their heads might drop and if that's the case we should be putting them to the sword and trying to put a dent into City's goal difference.

I heard rotation and resting players is trend now, so play this XI in every game from now on, so that we can have everyone fit for the match with city:

--------------- Amos --------------
Fabio -- Fornasier -- Smalling -- Fryers
--------- Pogba ----- Jones ----------
Rafael -------------------------- Park
--------- Berba ----- W. Keane ------

Or maybe we could try cleverley at lb?
Rest Berba, he must be exhausted.

Don't be fecking daft. You know deep down why players have been rested in certain games. People are throwing their toys out of the pram just for the sake of it now.

Maybe I am daft, but we are taking resting and rotating players too seriously. We don't know who is our first choice striker, who is our first choice winger pair, who is our first choice midfield pairing, who is our first choice RB. I don't know what would happen if we are still in champions league and in fa cup. I know injuries are to blame, but even without them we are resting and rotating too much. I can bet one of Hernandez-Welbeck won't play for the weekend, eventough they were rested last night.
It's time to stop rotating and play our strongest team every week.

I think you're probably right.

So what?
