I hope Dalot will be right and not Lingard.

Still going 1-2 Wolves win and the end of our top 4 dream imo.
Why would Dalot play anywhere but right? He’s not a CM or a second striker

The matchday threads never cease to amaze me. Dear Lord!

Happy with that squad to be honest. Would have liked Jones to have another game but a chance for players to show their credentials when there is a real need for a result.

Crazy how Dalot was signed as a RB who can cover LB but has played as a RM/RWF more often than not. Are we doing a Bale with him?!! He can shoot as often as he likes if he can draw some more hand ball penalties!! :D

Lingard must perform today. I think Martial definitely needed to see the bench. Expecting a standard but decent Romelu performance actually. Nice to see Fred again. Luke Shaw for MOTM once more?!?!

    Let's go!!!

I really like the look of the team, midfield was awful on Saturday and this 3 is much fresher. We really missed Lukaku in the fa cup game so think it’s good he’s up front. Dalit will whip some good crosses in for him

    Another positive from Ole.

We were shite on Saturday, so instead of changing nothing and hoping things improve, Mourinho style, Ole has at least tried to be proactive.

If Jose put a team like that out, there would be total meltdown by now
You’re shitting me, have you read some posts already? The meltdown has already begun, I’m getting the feck out of here it’s darking me out.

Well he’s done what Mourinho would never have done; drop Matic

Be tough but they will have one eye on the semis. If we score first we will win.

Darmian is not in Ole’s plans. Defensively sound but offers nothing going forward

It seems very obvious doesn't it.

Just with so much of our squad requiring repair/upgrades we can't expect to have a 10 in 10 out type affair. Yes Ed extended the contract with a firm view to getting some $ back, but some consistency of personnel in a time of flux is probably a good idea.

Darmian is probably depressed with his time here...and who could blame him, but he has 1 year left and I don't think it's 100% that he's off.

Maybe Ole will turn back to Fosu-Mensah next year? Tuanzebe a chance too. I'd rather see them have a final shot and look in under our Ole.

He was good once he got a kick against PSG, seemed to unlock the aggression in him. He’s seemed to nice

A baptism of fire that was.

I am sure he will defend well, but not sure he will open them up with creative passing. I think we will pass it around too slowly and struggle to create much.

We don't need McTominay to be Michael Carrick. But we do need Pogba to show up for this game and Fred to play like he's worth at least half what we paid for him.

Don’t get the moaning over the team, personally. I like it.

If Jose put a team like that out, there would be total meltdown by now
If Jose did it, it would be to send a message about the squad or to play politics in the dressing room. In this case, I think it's just the manager picking the side he thinks is most capable of winning tonight, based on fitness and recent performances.

Feel pretty good with that midfield to be honest . Herrera and Matic have been poo last couple games

Depressing team, how mighty have fallen. Ole is doing his best to get the sack quickly.

    :p

Glad Scott and Fred getting chances ahead of Matic and Herrera who have been crap.

The attack looks underwhelming though. Don't see from where the goals will come.

Ander injured or it's some kind of message?
Even if he's agreed a PSG move, this man is the very epitome of professional and has the mentality to contribute to the very last minute he plays for us.

With this in mind I think he is being rested for Barca.

The dual purpose is that Fred is getting an important 90 minutes where he can further adjust to the PL and prove his calibre.

    Win, win.

I'm actually okay with the team.. we played literally 48hours ago and felt like we rushed a few players back too early against Watford.

Hoping Lukaku on the scoresheet again. Lets go lads!

Good sign when the Caf moans about the team selection:lol:

Come on United. We need to win!

Yeah people jumping the gun I see. Although I'd be happy to se some news on the matter.

Djem-Djem....are you free? Surely you could put in a performance tonight?!
