We'll ease Cavani in with 10 minutes, ease Varane in with 20 minutes and go a little wild and ease Sancho in some more with a whole 30 minutes. They should all be up and running some time around February.

    Far too optimistic,

It's been a year and we are still easing in Donny, can't wait to see Varane and Sancho in the 23/24 season

Maguire was very poor indeed but bar pogba I thought the rest were walking in treacle. Those passages of play where a ball is there to be won, bouncing around and being awkward, we are atrocious at taking control in those moments. Someone will just tap it chest high and so it goes on until the opposition bring it under control it’s so frustrating!

Matic was so bad with this. He was heading away high balls even when he was unchallenged and in space. Fecking bring it down and get your foot on the ball ffs. So frustrating

No more piss arsing around, play your best 11 none of this bench bollocks.

    DDG
    AWB Varane Maguire Shaw
    McTominay
    Fred Bruno
    Sancho Cavani Pogba

4-1 win for United, Sancho goal, Cavani brace and Pogba to twat it in from inside his own box inside 30 seconds.

I have an idea. Why don't we start our best players instead of rotate and let pedestrian and past it players get minutes in what was the SECOND game of the season.
If it’s Matic you’re referring to then it was made clear that McT would only get around 30 mins. Otherwise it was the same pedestrian players who thumped Leeds

    Why not?

Cavani is better in the middle but you make a good point, maybe have Greenwood on the right, Sancho on the left and Cavani in the middle. Pogba for Fred in the midfield.
He played the Copa America and hasn’t trained since. His fitness has to be managed. So it’s no use playing a 75% fit Cavani. And before you say it, no he would not be better than the others even at that percentage because it would risk injury

Should start our new DM too, oh sorry we keep neglecting that position

    DDG
    AWB Varane Maguire Shaw
    McTominay
    Fred Bruno
    Sancho Cavani Pogba

4-1 win for United, Sancho goal, Cavani brace and Pogba to twat it in from inside his own box inside 30 seconds.

No place for Donny then, lets face it if he's in the subs list he will just be there to keep that bench warm yet again wondering what he did wrong

Not all that confident about this one unless Cavani is fit to play. If he is Pogba and Bruno will find him and we will be fine. I fancy Cavani to hit 15 in the league this season… No matic please and martial only if we 2 up. Let them earn their next start from off the bench.

Why would you drop the guy who's scored in the first two games for a half fit Cavani?

We also don't know what the deal is with McT. He's been carrying an injury since the opening day but managed 90 mins against Leeds. Hopefully he's fit for Wolves.

Matic and Martial started last game was a surprising. However, this is the least I expect:

    DDG
    AWB Varane Maguire Shaw
    McTominay Fred
    Sancho Fernandes Pogba
    Greenwood

A must win match. Play Donny instead of Fred would be nice and good match to give him a chance after terrible performance by our midfield last weekend and I don’t see it as big risk since we played Donny vs wolves away few months ago and we still won.

This one game a week lark is shite. When you win you want that feeling in a few days and when you don't win you want to put it right. Can't wait for the international window to pass and we get cracking in Europe.

Must win this really or things start to unravel.

The team always gets ahead of themselves after a big win…thinking it’s easy and they just need to show up.

Ole failed to get the attitude right for the Southampton game.

But I fully expect the team to be up for this game.

7 points from the opening 3 games is a decent start.

    C’mon Varane!

    de Gea
    Wan-Bissaka Varane Maguire Shaw
    van de Beek McTominay
    Sancho Bruno Pogba
    Greenwood
After Sunday Fred, Matic and Martial should be nowhere near the starting eleven.

I think Ole will definitely start Sancho and Varane

    De Gea
    AWB Varane Maguire Shaw
    Mctominay
    Bruno Pogba
    Sancho Greenwood Martial

This would be the ideal setup I'd like to see but this will be the team he's send out

    De Gea
    AWB Varane Maguire Shaw
    Mctominay Fred
    Bruno
    Sancho Greenwood Pogba

I hate we still playing the double pivot but Ole thinks he has no choice. Mctominay will fair well in the holding role because he is robust, tackles hard and covers a lot of ground. He has a good passing range and can play those short passes well. He just needs to keep it simple and feed Pogba and Bruno ahead of him and I think he's capable of that. Ole just needs to trust him and ask him to play the deeper role before signing someone who's a specialist in that window before the window ends. Definitely don't play Fred, Matic and Martial. VDB needs to go out there in the 60'.

In the immortal words of Steve McManaman... I don't like Wolves.

Here's hoping the games against them are a bit less dire now that Nuno has fecked off.

I think we'll win. We had that horrible habit last season of following scintillating performances up with poor ones. It's something Ole even hinted at when he said this team needs to learn how to handle good press. I'm hoping that issue gets resolved and quickly.

This team is great with backs against the wall, but they need to be that way even when things are going great too.

Saw something on Sky about Scott missing the international break with injury, sounds like he'll be unavailable.

Varane and Sancho both need to start here. No messing about.

Really need to win this and show our response following a lacklustre performance against So'ton.

    I'd go with...

    DdG

    Shaw
    Maguire
    Varane
    AWB

    Fred
    McTominay

    Pogba
    Bruno
    Sancho

    Mason

If Cavani is fit, I'd give him a run out too.

Anyone else getting this eerie feeling that Neves is going to run this game, we'll lose it and then panic buy him afterwards?

Just seen that Mike Dean is the referee for this game.

That's the unbeaten run done then.
