Exactly. Rashford made poor decision there, but the tactic was just wrong. England has enough ball carrier from deep and Rashford is one of the fastest forward in English starting XI. Why ain't he allowed playing on shoulder with opposition defenders on counter? Why was he in position to defend goal scoring chance in the first place from open play?
The glaring problem with ahite tactic is there to see, yet there are posters criticize individual troop instead. No wonder England despite all the talent over the year can't be taken serious enough as a team.
He is second forward for Tottenham while he is being asked to impose himself more as no10 for England. Erikssen influence is underrated. He is vital for that Tottenham side. England current doesn't have such player to pull the string in midfield. A bunch of midfielders and another bunch of attackers overstep each other doesn't make a team.
