Chile's result doesn't matter to Argentina so Brazil will probably take the game seriously. If Argentina win they'll automatically go through, if they draw or lose they'll finish behind Chile anyway.
Not a chance. We have never lost a home qualifier in our history and we're not about to throw that record away just to spite our rivals.
If Argentina wins the last game they are at WC so Chile Brazil game is a bit pointless from their perspective because as bad as they are there is absolutely zero chance New Zealand beats them in 2 legs.
Argentina lost at home to Ecuador in these qualifiers so that game next win is not a given though Ecuador are out. This is why WC expansion is a mistake, we won't get qualifiers like these anymore.

They're just a terrible team though. They sometimes get away with it due to solid defending/tenacity or Messi, but they play like they've barely been coached. The cohesion, quality on the ball is just wretched. No sense of understanding and players working towards a system. Just a bunch of blokes out there doing their won random thing.
Even their team selection seems so weird. No pace on the wings, no good full backs, the useless biglia always starting, some benetto starting when you have Aguero, higauin and Dybala. It goes back to when Maradona made a mockery out management and it's still prevalent.
For me they're one of the most dysfunctional NTs despite reaching a few finals.

If they draw they need Paraguay to draw or lose against Venezuela at home and Peru to lose against Colombia. Possible but definitely unlikely.
