World Cup Qualifiers | October 2017 | Play off draw on Tuesday

Did anyone mention how well Iceland have done to qualify by winning their group (assuming they win at home to Kosovo in their last match) ? I was following that group and hoped they'd make it but Croatia look to have fecked it up big time, could even miss the play-offs !
Their manager is a dentist, right?

Trinidad are the smallest country to ever make the WC and they have a population of 1.3 million. Iceland have a population of 300 thousand. It's incredible what this generation has done.
It really is. You have to give them credit .. they built so many indoor pitches (most in Europe I believe) that they can play full leagues all year round, to overcome their climatic difficulties and took coaching children to a new level.

One look at that pitch should have said anyone carrying even a slight knock shouldn't play. They are already there, so Fellaini wasn't needed.

Not sure what you mean here man. Sure the pitch is extremely bad and soft, but the tempo is really slow because of it - so not sure anyone is more prone to be injured.

This has been our best performance in ages. Feck knows where this effort has been during the whole qualifiers. Wouldnt have been in this position if we showed it

Edit: point stands even if we lose. Much improved performance even without Pjanic who is half of our team

Nice. No Giroud in the starting lineup for a change.

I'd say almost zero chance of France not qualifying. They'll likely still win the group but if not be seeded and go through courtesy of a discreet handball goal in the final minute that the officials will fail to notice.
They have a tricky game today.

Not watching the game but i'll switch it on now in case we score 10

Bosnia has the classic thing of losing focus after scoring a goal. Careless to concede right after like that
